I can't imagine how it would feel to have a band as good as the Kami band backing me up.. the girls must be so proud of them.. and the Kami band must be just as proud to have the best ever front singers like these three girls.. together they are the best band that's ever been on a stage.. and I'm only 61 years old and have been playing music my whole live and Babymetal has given life back to this generations music .

Actually, with Babymetal a lot of the time their is more going on than people think. This Babymetal show at Tokyo Dome was 2 days sold out in a row, the performed all songs from the first 2 albums, no song was repeated. The outtro on the second day the band kept repeating the same tune while the girls made a victory lap around 55 000 people stadium & the huge stage and then up the elevator to the top part of the stage to finish the show. The repeating took its toll on his legs and legend has it he had to be helped to leave the stage. So you kind of are not wrong. :-) He also brought a towel and drumsticks from his father who passed away used when drumming during his career (he was famous in his own right).

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🌟 🌟 🌟 This one is definitely a mind bender. Pulling this song off live at Tokyo Dome with only two guitarists still blows my mind. A few changes, but it still sounds a lot like the studio track. Hope everyone likes time signatures, we put as many in this song as we could fit. : ) Definitely a Dream Theater feel in this one. 'Images and Words' is one of BABYMETAL producer Koba's favorite albums.

Nice reaction & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。In a recent interview, Su-Metal replied : "TOTD was very difficult, especially it has no rhythm, of course, it does but looks so ..... About 10 second after its start, I lost correct tune and it continued for the 1st verse, I regretted it ..... I am still regretful for it so I have a intention to retry it" (excerpt). Although I believe no one thought she was singing out of tune or in inaccurate pitch, the intricacy of this song made even our Metal Queen feel uneasy. In addition, after watching your video, I reconfirmed the reason why the band in BABYMETAL's back has been called "Kami (= God)"

Great reaction! This is just one of 25 different songs BabyMetal performed over two days, on a gigantic high-tech stage. My head hurts just thinking about the rehearsals. The BabyMetal dancers are definitely Cardio Queens. 😎

@@autohmae There was also White BabyMetal, Black BabyMetal, and the Kami Band solos to allow for costume changes, hydration, etc. Those videos also give a lot of context that gets lost when we just see the musical numbers. But, the rehearsals for this show probably seemed endless. 😎

the song is called _babymetal death_ not just _death_ . it's a play on words. there is no "th" sound in japanese so it ends up sounding like "babymetal des" (we are babymetal).

It certainly has hispanic elements. I could hear that song here on a mediterranean summer night and it would fit perfectly. It has an obvious salsa vibe, but also some riffs really similar to spanish guitar music from the 18th century, that is also used in mexican music. In the end it's his own thing, with hispanic flavor.

Su-metal said this in a recent interview about this song: That song has no rhythm at all… well it’s there, but it’s not there (laughs). As such, the dance choreography was very difficult, and we spent a lot of time on it. As we practiced it over and over again I wondered if we could really perform it. And then… I can say this now, but I lost track of the sound [an in-ear-montor malfunction] about 10 seconds into the song, so I was completely lost for the first section, and it was a real source of regret. Tales is a really difficult song to perform, and I don’t know if I can perform it right now. Check out Band Maid, basically a straight ahead female Rock band from Japan. A lot of live videos. "Freedom" is an outstanding performance. These ladies are great song writers and players. They're excellent musicians. Nonetheless there are so many great bands coming from Japan. Japanese are keeping Rock fresh and keeping it alive. What are they feeding those kids?

... impossibile darti torto. Ma forse qui in Italia molti "metallari" (ai miei tempi si diceva così, adesso non so se il termine sia cambiato) dovrebbero finirla di fare i puristi del metal denigrando questo fenomeno. Il loro atteggiamento di superiorità nei confronti delle Babymetal denota in loro uno sciocco snobismo che sinceramente li rende ridicolmente anacronistici. Le Babymetal possono piacere o non piacere (come per tutti gli altri gruppi o generi musicali) e questo è più che legittimo, ma sottovalutarle "a prescindere" quando nel resto del mondo mietono un successo di pubblico "del settore" che ha dell'incredibile, rende noi italici sempre più provincialotti e ottusi. Per fortuna ci sono altri appassionati, come voi che scrivete e voi che fate queste "reaction", che non si fermano alla superficialità delle cose, ma ne vanno a fondo scoprendo il talento, la bravura e la genialità di questo progetto. Thank you for the subtitles of course, I think I had never thanked you for those before. Yes, Babymetal has their own sound but it's pretty much always with each song they take on a new (sub)genre of metal or music and make their own interpretation of it thus in keeping with their own sound. Thus having both their own sound and doing something new every time. Their is a huge amount of talent and work involved in Babymetal. This was their interpretation of progmetal. It took 2 years to write (obviously they were working on other things too in parallel)
