Genius inventor is right. The box need acoustic foam inside to break the air flow. But you need also to damp the mechanical resonances of the steel itself. I suggest bitumen coating inside because the qfactor of steel is not good.

I have an amplifier like this and I strongly recommend using a switch to disconnect it from the battery, despite having standby it remains on and connected to the device, in fact it consumes less battery, but eventually it will completely discharge it faster than if there was placed a switch

Also, surprised that you went for a 22.2V battery pack. Most appliances tend to be 12-24V DC, and a fully charged 6S battery pack is 25.2V.

Looks ok, but I would probably use either wood or plastic, instead of metal. That way, you don't need to do welding (which will save your eyes, as welding gives very bright flashes/sparks) and also, remember that metal is conductive, so everything will connect to each other. So unless you use some sort of protection, there is high chance of electronic components shorting against part of the metal. Furthermore, metal tends to block signals, so Bluetooth range won't be as good.
