I too, am heartened that the young ladies of NEMOPHILA, and other bands like Lovebites, BAND-MAID, GACHARIC SPIN. OTOBOKE BEAVER, HANABIE, Trident, and so many others, are carrying the torch of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal to a new generation of music fans.

Agreed Japan is the hotspot currently for awesome bands, especially the all female bands. Music is a huge part of Japanese curriculum in schools so they get exposed very early and it shiws. I've seen Nemophila live and they are awesome. Awesone musicianship and they are so engaging to watch. They all have distinct personalities and you can tell they love what they do. Mayu has incredible unique vocals, her screams are incredible, but her cleans have such a unique tone that blends so well into the mix. My 2 fav guitarists are Midori & Miyako from Lovebites, but Saki & Hazuki from Nemophila are always nipping at their heels. Happy Holidays.

And you haven't yet reacted to other Japanese girl groups like "East of Eden", "Trident", "Hanabie", Mary's blood", "Whiskey Dust" and the young South Korean women of "Rolling Quartz". For me “Némophila” is the only group that compares, instrument by instrument, with “Lovebites”

I think you may enjoy the live of "Oiran" released around 4 months ago, but really, any version of any song by Nemophila is good! Also, not all songs of theirs are heavy, they have real variety. Cheers.
