DR. OMEB the lead guitar has played with Liliac. He also played lead with Vinnie Appice's Sabbath Knights along with Melody and they did an excellent cover of Country Girl. from Mob Rules

Before Covid, the Cincy Vamps performed quite a bit. During Covid we did a few collabs then our original drummer was hired by Geoff Tate. We haven't performed live post Covid, but I've kept the collabs coming. Mostly I just do my solo act these days in between being a college professor. waited over 4 years, wondering when Melo was going to do this song, I knew she would sooner or later, now Man on the Silver Mountain, I'll wait for it next. The whole band did great, the drummer, loved the energy she brought to the video also. RO&RH!

What a great tribute to Rainbow ! The guitar player with the bottle is Mike Carr , also known as OMEB ( One Man Electric Band ) he does one man shows with backing tracks that are all recorded by him . The guitar player with the red and white guitar is Norman Voss who is presently with The Brett Michaels band . I once asked Melody how many of Dio's songs she knows . Her reply ? All of them !

If anyone could pull this song off, it was Melody. She's so heavily influenced by Ronnie James Dio, so you know she loved getting to do this cover. Done by the master himself. Not an easy song even for a trained singer with a strong voice.

Hello my young friends. Still not a fan of ratings. It's really hard to believe that this came out the year I graduated from high school and started my first year in college studying clasical music. I had to find a RJD live to listen again and it put me back into time. The kids and Papa Liliac actually learned rock and metal together. MeloDia found DIO at 15. No one gives the love and Respect to RJD like she can. All her DIO moves and the long tones with slow wide vibrato. Dr OMEB I've loved eversince Country Girl live from Vinny Appice Sabbath Knights show with MeloDia. Stornin Norman I've loved ever since he wore a Liliac shirt while performing with Brett Michael's. And he has a good soul. Everyone else was solid and the little one I loved her energy. Bands come and go. Some even die. Performing covers is, as Cousin Brucie often said, keeping the music alive. Great drumming. Singing was impressive but hard to watch with her exaggerated movements. Overall worthy effort even tho lacking the power of the original.
