The beauty created by nature,
I put it in a brooch work.
Through the imagination of wearing a small natural body,
To feel the natural sensibility
Antique yet luxurious texture and color matching
It is the image that we do work that we make carefully.
Please watch and cheer me
I want to thank all of you.
If you enjoyed it,
"Subscription" and "Okay" I would like.

That is an absolutely beautiful leaf, just gorgeous! It brought back memories from my childhood when I was a little girl and I would pay in the forest in Canada during Autumn, when the leaves change all these beautiful colors and when you stand there, in the forest, looking up at the tall trees and these beautiful red, green, yellow, orange and brown leaves would slowly and ever so gently float down to you. I loved it and your leaf brooch reminded me of that because of the silver and gold and it looks like it's in the middle of gently floating down from a tree! I would bring some leaves home to keep, I absolutely love leaves! Especially in Autumn.

Hello, What is your reason for using 95% silver and not sterling (92.5%)? I've watched all of your videos. You are very talented and have given me inspiration in my work. Thank you so much.
@SilverMeister
@SilverMeister 4 жыл бұрын
Amazing and thank you for watching all the videos. The reason that the ratio of the alloy varies according to the work to make, The more pure silver is, the softer it is. When working with a lot of changes, the alloy is made of high purity silver. On the contrary, when making a work for the purpose that should be hard, The purity of silver is sometimes lowered.

Well done. I suppose you use this alloy (Ag 950), which is close to Britannia silver (958) because, compared to Sterling, there is much less chance of develop fire scale. It is also a bit softer than Sterling.

Have you ever run a dried leaf with silver through your rolling mill for texture? I don't have a rolling mill yet, but I will be trying it when I get one, eventually.

Of course I've tried it. The shape of the leaves can also be printed. However, the quality of the patterns is poor. It is not deeply engraved.

What you see in the video is correct. The gold foil is heated on the silver and then pressed and rubbed. The temperature is about 700 to 800 degrees.
