Hi Aquachigger my dad and I really enjoy your videos. He has an ace 250 and he and my uncle just bought me my very own teknetics delta 4000 for my 11th birthday and it is awesome! unfortunately we will never be able to dig any cival war relics as we live in Ontario Canada but love to see you getting excited when you find them .Thanks for the inspiration to get out and start digging cheers!

Just being out in the woods makes for a good day, finding a seated quarter makes it a great day!

Gah! I've found 4 seated dimes. But the quarter is still on my bucket list. Great hunt Beau!

Seated Liberty Quarter! Way to hang in there, Chig! By the way, I am a serious gardener. Those Iris' are most definitely heirloom variety. They likely won't live too much longer because they like to have their rhizomes very, very close to the surface ground. Pretty much exposed. They propagate fairly rapidly. If you are in the area again, dig one up and plant it at your house.

Seated quarter is an amazing find. I know a guy that hoards those old quarters but I forget his name offhand.....

Wink wink... Beau never responds but I always throw a comment out. It's my own private game I'm playing at this point to see if he'll respond. Kinda like trying to make the queen's guards flinch. I do find his stuff entertaining though.

I'm so envious of even the small finds you get like silver coins, all I would find here in Australia is poisonous snakes who want to complain about my invading their homes... and spiders, lots and lots of spiders D=

This is why I’m goin to start magnet fishing and hopefully get a detector by spring or late winter. Nobody does stuff like this around here they wouldn’t know if anything is round the youngsters that is. Most of the older people like me are not to able to do this stuff but LORD WILLING AMEN I’m goin to do it.

Chigg, do you swing the detector over the irises to see if the person who planted them lost a ring or whatnot? Obviously you don't want to destroy them, but you can certainly excavate them and plant them elsewhere if you hit a good signal.

How far do those Iris spread? I know of some at this one place but I don't think there was a house where they are. Too close to the creek. But there was a house up stream about 100 yards in the early 1800s, which I have detected.
