Awesome hunt guys! 👍 Your beam Laurie was brighter than the sun in the sky! You guys came up equal on the Vicky largies but the one penny DS catapulted you over the finish line! I could feel the heat from the friction of the rubbing!🔥🤣 I thought to myself that has to be a one penny or Laurie’s got tiny hands. Have only dug halves in those so far. Well Laurie didn't you do well. Poor Erik got plenty of exercise walking backward and forward to view your finds. LOL well done.Those cents looked good. I had to admire your brightly coloured fingernails. They did remind me of mudguards though. Shiney on top, Shite underneath LOL Like some people I know. Looked cold and windy too.

Nice old coppers nothing looked to deep in that field repetitive plowing may have brought them closer to the surface

Hi! Welcome to the hobby! There is a Facebook group called Ottawa Metal Detecting, it has a banner with the parliament. They have about 600 members, it’s a great place to meet the locals. I’ve seen a few small groups get together. Eric and I will sometimes meet up with friends to detect with but we only have the weekends. ☺️
