Nice to see you find a few nuggets. Persistence pays off again! As I was watching the flat pieces being dug an idea popped into my brain- 1- we know that flat pieces are very difficult to hear when viewed from the edge. 2- we almost always have our coils flat to the ground 3- the sensitive areas for a coils are directional with the top and bottom more sensitive than the sides. So, I was wondering if there might be value to holding the coil at an angle as another check when in areas of very flat gold? Best of luck with your adventure!

Another great video. Thanks.. really look forward to your updates. I note that Chrissy runs her threshold much louder than Mark's threshold which is almost off. It would be great to see what each detector sounds like on a very soft target. Maybe this is why Chrissy is seemingly more successful on the smaller pieces.

Whenever I am swinging and just about ready to call it a day I think about you and Mark out there fighting the flies and hot rocks, scrubbing through all the hardened soil I suddenly realize that I have it relatively easy compared to you troopers.
