Thanks for the vid,my sons Garrett gave up the ghost,and wanted a replacement,was looking at the nokta simplex but swaying more to this model as we will be on the beach more than the land,cheers

Hi Paul, thank I am enjoying really enjoying getting to grips with it, I need to read the sand better, i had the shingle sussed, but seem to have hardly any targets on the sand. Can i ask with the pinpoint function is the target in the middle of the coil? cheers

you'll love the multi IQ 👍. it's only downside is that you can't switched to single frequency when you get EMI interference like you can with the Nox. Still a great machine and will be a beast on the beach. Happy hunting 👍

@Metal detecting chick it's a fairly easy machine to use. pretty much turn on and go. my mate uses one. I think he hunts in coin fast. take spare batteries out with you. roman can come up as 13-14 on the vdi. small hammered and cut half's can be as low as 6-9. 👍

Thank you, I would say stick with it it takes a while to "learn" a new machine and to start with dig everything until you get familiar with the machine, some treasure can come in as "trash numbers" it's taken me a while but I now tend to listen more to the tones than read the numbers, hope that's helpful and good luck with your new machine 🙂

It's all your fault! I've decided to invest in a good quality detector and go a-hunting to see what I can find of interest. Many ancient Viking/Danish battle sites quite near to me. I have no illusions about finding a £million hoard of gold, but from a historical point of view, I'm looking forward to a new interest. I'm sure it's going to take a lot of learning before I start to get used to it all. As I said, it's all your fault; your videos are really interesting. So thank you for the enthusiasm. Wish me luck

Hi I’ve been watching a few of your videos and there hounest so far. Can I just ask, how did you end up metal detecting I found it it by becoming unwell and stuck in bed watching videos that inspired me. Ive eventually got my self well enough to actually go out and do it and at no fault if my own shit happens in life. But your vids are great and I’ve managed to get a detector. If there’s any guidance or help you can give me please do. Also it’s great to see a beautiful person doing this and hope it encourages more females into it as very male dominated. I’d love my daughters to come metal detecting with me but apparently not a thing girls do😂 thank you for vids and good luck digging. If your ever up north east let me know I’ve got permissions for some good land but don’t feel confident going out on my own. Don’t worry if could could get male to go out detecting with me it would be the same I’m no pervert I just want to get out and do what I’ve wanted to do for years👍

Hi Peter, Thanks for so much for watching, I started during lockdown, I borrowed a kids metal detector from my Mum (she picked it up at a jumble sale) enjoyed it and got entry level machine then recently upgraded to Vanquish 540 which i am enjoying. Sorry to hear you have been poorly, I hope you are feeling better. I'm still learning but find research and putting in the leg work gives best odds. You can have best machine and location but if you not getting out there you won't find anything. i think the motivation is important. If i expect to hit the jackpot every time, i would be VERY disappointed. i love the sunrises, sunsets, finding funny things, yesterday found a seahorse...which made my day. I enjoy getting out in nature and being by the sea. I just go on my own, sometimes you just have to do what you enjoy, maybe start in garden of family or friends to get the hang of it, then they'll be no stopping you. It took me a little while to feel confident at first, but hope you stick at it, it really is the best hobby in the world. happy hunting

If you don't dig the trash tones you are missing gold jewelry, the tones and numbers for gold jewlery are the same tones and numbers for foil and pull tabs , so to get the good stuff you must dig the trash stuff unfortunately! Lol good luck
