Good to see you out again keep the detecting videos coming. So how does the triple score compare to the legend in your opinion.?

Thanks..I will try. It is 90% of the Legend options with nearly identical performance. They cut back on the tone break/pitch options, ferro meter, and removed the gold field setting for a relic mode. Few other fine-tuning changes as well. If the Legend is a 10 on the scale...this is an 8.5 to 9.

Thanks Nick! Just detected day 5 there. I'm at 10-12 wheats...5 silver...and 40 or so clad coins. Only 2 clad quarters in all of that.

I hope it continues! So far this Triple Score has been good to me. Deus 2 is a great one...I figure the gap is wide vs the Vortex.

@thehuntergt yep the triple score looks really good. I had a double score for a while and did well with it. I handed it down to a buddy that was just getting into detecting. Yep the D2 gave me record silver coins 2 years in a row. 86 first year, 102 last year. This year isn't quite done yet. I'm around 80 but haven't counted them recently. Keep digging man!

Hey Tim. That is a tough one. The performance is nearly even with the Legend...it is just the fine-tuning options for tones and breakpoints they removed. If they added those back it would be so close there would be no reason to market it as different.

@@thehuntergt Thank you John. As you know it's that ability to fine-tune that "sets the bar" with all analogue, analogue/digital hybrids and fully digital machines that really matters. On the down-side, over-engineering can often prove unneccessarily fiddlesome hindrances, with scant rewards for pushing prices to the "silly bin" level.imo
