Sweet Mother of Pearl Merrill! Silver dime, another Marine Corp emblem and a ring! The odd looking ring looks like a screw back earring minus the screw - these were popular in 40s - 60s as I recall ( my mother & aunt's wore them 😁)

If it has flex to it, it might be a nose pincher from the early 20th century. I found complete ones detecting a old swimming hole. If it is, it's missing the rubber coating.

I think that the ring that you are not calling a ring is most likely an earring.....I’m not sure about why the tiny little holes are there, maybe something decorative was there....if your wife has pierced ears, get her opinion, but I’d say earring on that one :)
