What is buried under New York City? This is part 3 of the series where I use a metal detector to unearth part of New York City's history. In this episode I am on Brooklyn's historic waterfront searching for artifacts from an old amusement park in Canarsie called Golden City. New York (or any city's) metal detecting requires a lot of patience, because you will dig a lot of trash. There is a built in tutorial to this video that teaches viewers how to deal with trashy ground and to dig the treasures that sometimes lie underneath.

Back in 83 I don't even recall their being a guard rail..the cars came right up to the lip of the dirt border and that's where all the coins were .so you might have to some research to see what work they did there over the last 35 years
