Dude, what a beautiful site and way to start your video. It reminds me of a place that I hunted that was located along a river. A lot of mornings it would be so beautiful as the dark turned into light and the fog hovered close to the ground. At those moments I was so very thankful for everything that was provided forus here on earth. Later on in the evenings you could see the fog begin to gather on the river side of the flats and slowly creep it's way across the opening until you couldn't see anything but fog. Oh the wonderful times that I had on that magical wonderland .

I’ll see your harmonica reed and raise you a piano harp, or plate. I found a handful of the pins the wires go on and then uncovered the entire cast iron plate. Beautiful, with not a speck of rust except on some of the pins that were still in it. It doesn’t have the maker’s name but does say material and workmanship guaranteed. We’ve been asking some of the old timers here where it might have come from. We found it along one of our cross fences. I think it’s from an upright piano as this is not the kind of place you might find a grand piano. We will now have to check the area around it because there was once a town with houses in our pasture. Our house was a home but also the store and post office for a while. It was built in 1915. There’s very little that is older than 1910 because the Big Burn happened then and wiped out large portions of several states that year.

Thanks for getting up super early to share this foggy morning Alabama mountain video. Haven't seen much metal detecting by you in a long time. It's not always about the treasure you find. It's about just getting out there.🪙🌳🥾
