I ran into some friends while metal detecting Fort Myers. Bruno had no idea that he was in the water with a LOT of sharks!!!

It's remarkable how dedicated you are, even as this is just your hobby, yet ready to laugh, kind, easy going and happy with whatever life throws at you. We all enjoy your surprise and happiness at your lucky finds.

I wonder if the buzzing of your metal detector attracts or detracts sharks? Whales? Dolphins? Fish with gold teeth? Any fish? Not a bad day. Survived the sharks, you’re 85 cents in the black, found a ring… not a bad day. Love your videos, brother. Keep ‘em coming.👍

The detector doesn't really attract anything, but digging attracts sheepshead a lot. I usually have them swim into the holes that I dig to find all of the little critters that I exposed

I used to get discouraged finding pull tabs until I realized that that particular spot had not had a coil over it by someone hunting for gold. Now it excites me when I find them.

These days, so many people are getting into the hobby. Competition with other metal detectorists is very common, especially at the tourist beaches. I find that I do better when I look for low, washed out areas that produce older targets rather than counting on fresh drops from the previous couple of days that hopefully haven't been picked over by other detectorists

The tuba guy was brilliant. I guessing his practicing doesn’t go down well with neighbours so the beach is perfect 😄

haha! I see him almost every time I go there!

WE have had in the last two years in Western Autralia a number of Great White attack than we ever had before with deaths involved and a young girl was mulled to death last year by a bull shark and she was only knee deep in the water.

My flight leaves for our Florida condo in two hours. Hopefully I can do some detecting this coming week around Sarasota if red tide isn't too bad.

Any idea who hunts "Fred Howard" park?! Thought my nox 800 was broken; too quiet. Nothing in the wet, three silver targets in the dry.

Sure was hoping that water would clear up. Ain't no way I'd be staying in that murky water with sharks around. Can I have your detector after they eat you??

What type of sharks because here in Ausie land you would lose a leg if you were in the water with sharks here.

We get a lot of black tip, nurse, bull, hammerhead, bonnethead... I'm sure there's a lot that I'm missing. There's a great variety. They're rarely aggressive towards people. It's not a concern while I'm out there
@paulcole11713 ай бұрын
That great because we get Great White Sharks, Tiger Sharks and Bull Nose Sharks and they are all known to attack.@@DetectFlorida
