Sweet hunt with an amazing haul of silver! Always awesome to get wreathed silvers! Chevy thing is super cool, and old! Not by a long shot is it hunted out! Very big city with crazy number of parks. Very possible some haven’t been hit or have been with an older generation of detectors.

Yes I agree. Probably been hit long ago but with today’s tech we’re getting what’s left. Some places better than others.

Do you dig everything? I’ve been told to ignore low tones because it’s probably iron. I’m very new to detecting and still learning.
@SkidMarksTheSpotMetalDetecting3 ай бұрын
Only way to learn is to start off by digging it all. A great variety to be found and the better you will learn the machine. Unfortunately if you are ignoring the low tones you will miss out on a lot of gold. Gold will always fall in the low tone range unless it’s big. Chains of all sorts will also be a lower broken type signal because the machine reads the individual links rather than the complete chain. There’s a science behind it and I’m also still learning 10 years later. All the best and good luck!
