Nice to see Clacton again ( spent quite a bit of time there as have family near). Walking on soft sand is very tiring!

Yes, hard work after the other 100 local detectorists have been over it.😊 I was detecting that beach in the early 70s with not a lot of competition. On a lot of those beaches new sand has been pumped in over the years and lots of bits of metal from target practice during WW2. Us locals have done a good job cleaning up the ‘War Slaw’😊
