I remember as a kid sometimes my brothers and I would make chains from those pull tabs. We had a slew of old mason jars of all kinds and ball jars too, but ours where used over and over again, mom spent her vacation every year canning. When you have a garden, you eat what you can, and what you can't, you can. I always enjoy your videos.

Salamander? I do believe it's called a skink. I had one living in an old house with me that was about a foot long. It used to get under the throw on my recliner.......sat on it more than once, it'd startle the heck outta ya....probably him more than me. Mostly during the winter, it just wanted some warmth I imagine. Love your videos by the way.....looks like fun.

Be careful around old houses like that. Everyone of them has at least one well, sometimes more. People would board them up, when they didn't use them anymore. Grass grows over them, then dirt builds up. The boards rot out, and the only thing holding you up when you step on them is the roots. As a child I've stepped on old well holes, and fall in up to my arm pits. If I wasn't with a friend, I would've been stuck. I would hate to see you fall all the way in. You can't see these well hole even when you are looking right at them. They are a death trap of the worst kind. People will come looking for you, and stand next to the hole, and not see, or hear you scream for help.
@rogergoodman86656 жыл бұрын
He is "Well" aware of them! Don't worry about Nugget, he's located & searched dozens of wells over the years. He always replaces the covers if they have one & makes an attempt to cover them or mark them if they don't. I would like to see him wear a mask though when he goes into & under some of these places though!

Thank you as always for the video sir. I like to see a bit of wildlife in them (as well as seeing you working hard of course! I was thinking maybe I could fix a detector on the end of my crutches and take up the hobby too but then I realised that because they are made of metal they would set off the signal all the time so it would not work! I am a twit! On a serious note may Our Lord Almighty protect you from befalling any perils you encounter such as dodgy buildings and may He give you His Blessings and Peace eternally.
