What I love most about Caleb is not just how good he can play already at his age. The thing I love the most is that his parents saw he had a passion for something and rather than what I see a good amount of parents do, which isn't encourage it. They found ways to get him kits and help him become what he is today at 7!!

All I can say is wow. I have played drums for 15 years now and this 7 year old kid is way better than me. I think Caleb is going to be big and i hope he's going to be in a great band someday. Rock on little dude. An inspiration for all young and future drummers.

@@Supermann124 Haha I hear you. I played a lot the first years and is mostly self taught. And when i got kids the time behind the drumkit got a lot less. So yeah I don't practice as much as I want to or need to. But I rather play a little here and there then not playing at all 😊

There are so many ways to remark on this kid's ability but I just wanted to call attention to the ergonomics. Imagine having to play fast double bass from an almost standing position and with your snare almost sticking in your chest. As soon as I can find a barstool to replace my throne I'm going to try this out just so I can appreciate his ability even more. One of my favorite Caleb moves is smiling gleefully into the camera and then remembering, "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be a badass right now"

One of the most incredible and mysterious things about humans is that it seems like many of us were born to do something. It takes decades for some of us to find our thing, and many more never find something that they connect with on a visceral level. Caleb is not only fortunate, he's a potent example of dedication and hard work, especially for someone so young. Watching him crush Eyeless by Slipknot was inspiring and pure joy.

But for one it's 2-3 years of rapid progress, for another it's 10+ years of really HARD WORK. That's real life. We're not equal in everything. It's about genetic abilities and predispositions. Thanks to is natural talent, his dad/mom and the web. This shit is possible. Trying to learn shit back in, lets say, 70's and before all the way up to cassettes, then CD's, non dial up internet, took some serious effort. Imagine plugging in some headphones to a Emerson all in one, album, 8-track, radio set up and trying to play along. Dooooood. That must have been hell. These days, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING is available online for FREE. Still need some starting talent but you can learn/hear anything you want. It's nuts, even with what I stated that he's only 7. My guess is dad had him rocking at 3 or 4. Dad probably plays drums himself. All around pretty nutty.

He nailed Tom Sawyer. I know drummers who have been playing for years, and that song is difficult for them to play. Neil Peart himself called that one of the most difficult songs in Rush's catalogue. He nailed it. I'm beyond impressed. Between him and Nandi Bushnell, the future of rock music is in very good hands!

Oh man I'll be voting for you. This little dude is a child prodigy. At one point you can see the sticks bending. His kit is beautiful. Love the red skins. Wow. Great reaction video buddy. ❤️❤️❤️🤗
