Thank you again for another fun reaction to Stray Kids!!! There is actually a back story to Ryan Reynolds and Stray Kids, that started in 2021 when Stray Kids did a Deadpool theme for one of their competitions in Kingdom Legendary Wars. Ryan saw the video and reached out to Bang Chan, Stray Kids leader and they began communicating and a friendship between the two formed. Then Hugh Jackman saw that Bang Chan and Felix are fellow Aussies and somehow a friendly competition over who was the biggest fan between Reynolds and Jackman started. The boys are all big Marvel fans so having Reynolds and Jackman in their MC was a huge honor for them.

Halazia, guerilla, the real, wonderland are good songs to start with. Ps it's not the multiverse, it's stray kids megaverse. That's a great song... They are all great songs...

I went from MIW, Slipknot to being absolutely obsessed with Stray Kids just over 2 years ago now. I regret nothing! They are so talented and the music is beyond amazing and never boring. The ballads hit too. They also aren't typical as they have 3 members Bang Chan, Changbin and Han aka 3Racha, write and produce since predebut. The other members do help with songs as well.

As a fellow metalhead, you chose the right group, I fell into the rabbit hole about 2 years ago and am most definitely a Stay. I'd recommend you start from, well, the beginning. Hellevator(predebut), District 9(debut) after that you have like 200 songs to go through, dancepractice videos, live performances, which tend to be rearranged versions as they do it all themselves.

55 year old that's been down the K pop rabbit hole for 12 years now. Stray Kids is an amazing group and one of my favorites. There is just so much to K pop that you will never run out of new music to find and enjoy. Stays are a very welcoming group of fans and you fell into a great fandom of people here. For Stray Kids I'll recommend Mountains, Side Effects, Thunderous, The Sound, and Circus. For a slightly different sides of Stray Kids... Another fun reaction! Coming from another metalhead that just discovered them through last year's VMAs I totally get it and all your reactions. Their discograhy is insane. They have so much energy and power that it makes sense to be drawn in. They also do so many other genres and they do them all so well. Their title tracks tend to have this same hard hitting energy and they have b sides and OSTs and vocal heavy songs too. As someone else mentioned they are amazing live and just headlined three major world festivals including Lollapalooza in Chicago recently. You should definitely check it out! Others have already mentioned that Ryan saw a Deadpool themed performance by Stray Kids for Kingdom years ago and they struck up a friendship that then included Hugh Jackman. They wanted them to have a cameo in the movie but unfortunately the schedules didn't work. You can see Bang Chan and Felix interview Ryan and Hugh and some other content online. It's all very cute and rather surreal. Their title tracks all have mvs but many of their others do as well. Some songs have dance practices or performance videos. Otherwise you can always find a lyrics video or possibly a live performance. For MVs I'd recommend Jjam, La La La La, Megaverse for newer videos or Maniac, Thunderous, Venom and Freeze for older ones. You should definitely check out their performance last year at the VMAs and they also performed Maniac on a few late night US shows. For dance practice videos Domino, Easy and Double Knot are a few to recommend but honestly every dance practice is amazing. They also have English only songs though none of those have mvs and Japanese songs. Enjoy!

I'll give you one that probably won't show up a lot but it is amazing--Social Path, featuring the Japanese mega star LiSA. It's one of their Japanese releases, and what I love about it is that they built the sound around LiSA's style and strength--it still sounds like Stray Kids but it also sounds like LiSA, and it's really good. Stray Kids videos are usually really strong on storyline, fabulous visuals, great choreo and really cool transitions. Fun group.

If you haven't added them to your list yet, I'd suggest checking out Maniac, Circus, Christmas Evel, Freeze, Venom, Back Door, and Red Lights. Circus and Back Door are two of my personal favorites for "I need to get up and dance" music. Christmas Evel is just fun. Red Lights is a total 180 from the others. Oh, and look up their cover of "I'll Be Your Man" from Kingdom. Changbin does a rap in that that in the original was done by TWO rappers, and he does it all by himself. It's truly amazing.

Changbin is the faster rapper in Korea and just surpassed Eminem in the line of fastest rappers in the world. That’s just a small blip of how amazing one member is. Imagine all of them being equally talented at something completely their own but also everything that the members around them are good at. That’s this group. Individually, so amazingly talented. Together. They are unique and untouchable as far as I’m concerned.

Yes Deadpool and Wolverine are in their video... No, Marvel had no idea... Yes they also have THE TITLE TRACK on the Deadpool & Wolverine Soundtrack and it's an Original... NO they did not compromise their style and morals by changing it up, the song is so very Stray Kids and so very Deadpool coded all at once... Yes Ryan and Hugh are actual besties with Chan and Felix...No Stray Kids isn't looking for older less agile members. This one is a Banger and definitely SOTY !!! oooh and bonus: They filmed this in New York while here doing promotions and only had a limited time frame to get it done, plus with the noise ordinances they had to use in-ears instead of having the music playing and Hyunjin's didn't work at one point so Chan sang out loud and they were still perfectly in sync with each other.

About Stray Kids: Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on KZbin. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but one left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members are great and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. Definitely check out their song for the Deadpool OST SLASH... lyric video. It is EPIC. Lyric videos are also a good way of learning who sings what and their faces. So when there isnt a music video available look for lyric videos. Because they have like 80 music videos and 200 songs lol They headlined 3 music festivals this summer. I-Days Milan, BST Hyde Park London and Lollapalooza Chicago (they headlined Lollapalooza Paris last year and got invited back for Chicago). You can find their full performances on KZbin. They are insane live.

I totally didn't think about what it would be like for baby Stay (new to the fandom) to jump into Skz now.. like.. overwhelming!! 😲 I've been a Stay for a year and a half, and have watched them sky rocket maybe, for the most part, with their first VMAS + a win, first Met Gala, their launch of LMB in NY for a month, etc and it felt like a lot back then! Just hold on tight and enjoy the ride! Lol 🙃 This might be weird, but i couldn't stop watching the wolf(?) and fox tatt on your arm. The boys are just starting getting tattoos (well one member has 3 so far, Han, maybe the others too at this point) and Bang Chan's representative animal is the grey wolf and has spoken about wanting to get a sleeve, I.N's representative animal is the fox.. Y'all I'm so excited for them! Anyway! Love seeing that giant smile on your face! On to the next one!

Stray kids are not your typical kpop group…. They can make any sort of music and it will be good 😂😂😂 I definitely recommend Christmas evel, charmer, any, lalala (since you like metal), megaverse, sclass, and domino(no mv) I also recommend their live performance ‘God’s dududu’ and their song MIROH Welcome to stayville! 😂😂😂 if you end up watching more stray kids, I recommend watching a guide to get to know them better. The longer guides are more accurate and helpful ❤

Definitely continue your stray kids journey, you'll love most of their music (and they have an insane amount of music) and when you get to know them you will absolutely adore them as well. They're freaking comedians, their personalities are great. There's such a world to dive into with kpop. Stray kids go back with Ryan Reynolds since 2021. They did a deadpool inspired performance and Ryan became a fan and friends with Bang Chan, the leader of stray kids. There's a very funny interview online about the deadpool movie with Bang Chan, Felix, Ryan and Hugh. This collab was slowly teased for so long, hints dropping everywhere and we as fans went nuts. Marvel didn't know they were gonna be in this video, they just did it. Ryan also wanted skz for a cameo in the new movie but the timing didn't work out. However skz did make an OST for the movie, called Slash. I've already seen it suggested but if you like stray kids I'd for now keep checking them out for a while and if you ever want to look at another group, add ATEEZ to the roster. You'll like them.
