@@CircumcisionIsChildAbusenot a myth at all. There was a law suit about it where the manufacturer sued McDonald’s about them saying their machines were always down and came to find out that the company can monitor the machines and showed that they were not down but the employee’s just didn’t want to clean them.
@CircumcisionIsChildAbuse9 ай бұрын
@@warrenlancaster9305 1. don't interject into a conversation if you're going to be THIS confused. 2. The original comment says: The ice cream machine at a McDonald's usually isn't broken. They just say that because they don't want to clean and maintain it. Which is CONSPIRATORIAL. And acussatory- and you JUST confirm exactly what I said. It's neglected equipment...it has nothing to do with the franchise... so what are you even saying? why is this confusing? READ. No lawsuit has ever confirmed that mcdonalds restaurants purposefully refuse to sell ice cream...you have 15 year olds in charge of operating heaivly sensitive equipment. The more functional restaurants have working ice cream...what are you even saying? this common MYTH- is that mcdonalds has a BUSINESS strategy where they refuse ice cream during off-season months. which is nonsense. you can get an icream ALL year round- assuming you go into a restaurant run by competent managers....its the bottom of the barrel for restaurants...so having high expectations for equipment management is unrealistic. go to a 5 star mcdonalds and you'll find ice cream...jeez. i just wasted all that time on this nonsense.

I used to work in an American forge like this. We had guard cages over the 20k psi hydraulic hammers and were required to wear bullet proof aprons. There was one machine that still didn’t have the guard cages installed yet and they operated it anyway, the ingot flew out the hammer like a bullet and almost took a dudes leg out. He was screaming on the floor and they had to call an ambulance. Crazy thing is, I was instructed to turn my back to this machine to sharpen a blade when this happened, standing right behind the dude that got struck. Had he not been standing there, I might be paralyzed right now. Needless to say, I quit the next week and got into plumbing instead lol
@colestowing8695 Жыл бұрын
plumbing? that sounds like a crappy job. (sorry-couldnt help myself😂) (edit)... so many r/whooshes. THIS IS JUST A JOKE. The OP said he got a job as a plumber. Plumbers deal with crap (ie poop). The Ladish Hammer, also known as the 85 Hammer, is one of the world's largest counterblow hammers. It was built in 1959 in Wisconsin. The hammer weighs over one million pounds and is five stories above and below ground. It's located in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Counterblow hammers are used for manufacturing large forgings. The high impact energy and tonnage of the hammer dies, moving in opposite directions, allows for precision forming of large forgings. The Ladish Company originated in 1905 when Herman Ladish, a supervisor at the American Malting Company, sought a solution for machine problems. Ladish approached John Obenberger, who ran a local forging shop, to address the matter and formed a business partnership.

It’s cool how the hammer guy holds it low for a second to catch the forging tool thing for when it pops out instead of letting it just shoot into the air and hurt someone

Anyone else think the press crushed the guy at first??

I like the way the hammer operator stops it after each hit after the second plug expelled itself to prevent anything going upwards into the air and landing on someone

Bet he’d do it every single strike if they didn’t chewing gum a broken foot pedal to get this fucker to run You could run a pwrhammer every single day of your life and never get that good in a million years. In my imagination he’s probably THE hammer guy, sure seems that way in most of these videos and this is the biggest machine I’ve seen in a while only ever Asian dudes running shit the size of my house

Apparently not. Doesn’t even require eyewear or a Face shield.

@@MrVisitationmost jobs don't require any PPE other than work boots / steal toecaps Most big companies will often force staff to wear head protection, eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, etc via the "company policy" to protect them from having to pay out when something does happen. It's protection for the companies interest that they pass off as "protection for you" You have a higher chance of dying falling out of bed the wrong way whilst getting up for work, than you do something striking you in the eye at work. Blindness is a huge claim most companies will want to avoid.
