Ease? If you paid attention you’d of seen it took two days to build the part and they had to melt down a defective attempt for material, meaning a loss of two days wage.

What many don't realize is that long ago that craftsmen knew the safety hazards of their work; yet they were skilled at not being seriously injured. For example using a hammer and chisel; then one were skilled at using them without hitting the hand now chisels come with safety features so then that skill is lost to the modern craftsmen. Remember accidents will still happen despite all the safety equipment because it lures the worker into a false sense of security. I am not saying not to wear safety gear since it's available. However in situations where it's difficult to be safe then the next best is to be careful

I am deeply moved by the incredible craftsmanship showcased in this video. The dedication and skill of the workers are truly commendable. However, it also saddens me to witness the absence of essential safety equipment during such hazardous tasks. As a proud representative of a safety gloves company in Pakistan, I understand the critical role protective gear plays in ensuring the well-being of workers. Ensuring the safety of workers should be a top priority in any industry. I believe that with the right protective equipment, the artisans in this video could not only enhance their safety but also further improve the quality and efficiency of their work. Let's all work towards creating a workplace culture where every worker, regardless of their craft, can perform their duties with the utmost safety and protection. It's a small investment that yields immeasurable returns in terms of human well-being. Stay safe, everyone! 🌐🧤

16:24 Fine example of why it's *Monumentally Moronic* to have exposed feet around molten metal. At least when you're dealing with pouring the metal wear proper protective gear. Like they did *after* they poured it. Impressive process all the same.

Just shows why they can make things the western world cannot make. When there are no stupid rules, and only common sense is needed, this is what can be done. I would rather work here than in many "safe " work shops. Well done guys --top marks from Australia.

I hope the hole he drilled on the "lathe" is not for mounting the prop on the shaft.
@user-lb3jw6jk1s

It wasn't the drilling I was concerned with it was the boring bar was not rigid in the tool holder, plus the tool holder had so much play on the bed way, the boring bar just wobbled through the taper hole. When they broached the dam key way it was also not secure. Amazing.

The hole will have to be bored out and tapered to fit the shaft . This is just a pilot hole.

Amazing that they can drill and bore an accurate hole considering the fact that neither drill no boring bar can be kept steady and rigid on that lathe.
