Actually it's more efficient, because you can reuse the uncured Resin. All it's doing when it pulls the part out is selectively curing small parts of the Resin to make the part and supports underneath. That means that out of that pool of Resin that you pour you can reuse up to about 75% of it after you fully cure the part under UV Light and use Alcohol to soften the supports to remove them and smoothen out the part. You actually end up with less gaps and drooping than standard PLA. It doesn't mean that you can't end up with failed prints, but it does mean that it's more consistent and has less that can be fucked up.

Should have poorer slower and all at once. Would have come out nicer without touching a dremal. Also a finer grate to make the sand conform better and at least cover with the fine sand about a 1/2 inch to an 1 inch. I did foundry casting for a year before full time welding. If you poorer alum in that mold it would have only filled half and steel maybe 2/3 of that mold
