I don't know if it's true in this one or not but in some of the metal gear games, the number of alerts you have is related to how bad/good your final overall score is, with best possible being 0 alerts.

It indeed is true. The mainline games' best rank is obtained when completing the game in a short amount of time, without any kills (or at least not obligatory ones), without alerts, without using recovery items and probably a few conditions that im forgetting

a Contra movie with Arnold and Stallone would've been sweet, but they already did Aliens in the 80s. Also, Arnold and Sly were box office rivals at the time and I don't know if either would've accepted second billing. I'd argue Stallone was the bigger star in the 80s, after Rocky 4 and Rambo 2.
