I also like that there is no song "а soul can't be cut". Because she sings about Jack the Ripper, but Monsoon and Sam are dead, so Raiden wasn't broken psychologically. Not only that, but Sam also ends up playing a key role in assisting Raiden for the story’s climax.

The cool and sad thing about solid rising is the fact that everything besides proper game play was made and finished. Unused bosses that platinum games turned down, the level maps. Etc. Solid rising would've taken place in a few locations. nevada, home of area 51 Miami Florida (concept art shows a cyborg enemy with japan text that reads "Miami." (It's an assumption but, what else represents the word Miami other than Florida?) And a really interesting place is Mexico. Yep solid rising was going to have a Mexican factory level. I guess revengeance kept something similar.

Honest to God, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for a mod like this. I never hated the back scabbard, but I always preferred how the hip scabbard looked in the prologue and it killed me how nobody even bothered to try recreating it. People back in the day were adamant that it was impossible and I should just let that desire go, but here we are with literal proof that it is possible. If you can now just modify the model to use the original body head and maybe even make a variant that uses the custom body & scabbard, it will fully convince me that Metal Gear Rising becoming popular again wasn't a mistake, because goddamn just seeing this is making me impossibly happy. Little things like this should have been in the game at the start.

Well the short answer is, I don't think Raiden would have won. Sam gifting his sword to Raiden is the reason that Raiden won the fight against Armstrong. Without it he would have died.

Raiden beating Sam would imply that he is already strong enough to beat Armstrong at the start of the game. Sam put up an excellent fight against Armstrong, knocking him down multiple times and taking his arm once, and if Raiden could beat Sam, surely Raiden would at the very least put up a better fight.

And the cycling throughout different MGS musical scores doesn't really work for this matchup, considering Raiden and Armstrong don't have any prior multi-game spanning history the way Snake and Ocelot did in MGS4... and this very specifically ISNT a Metal Gear Solid game in the first place so it makes even LESS sense. This clearly took effort, I'm not saying it didn't, but to say there isn't significant room for improvement would be grossly disingenuous.

Mainly cuz it's a huge MGS 4 reference, stylized to fit Jack's path in life (or what's widely known of it), instead of Snake's. Truly PATRIOTic.
