i just bought a ps3 last month just to play mgs4. it still holds up but def needs better framerate i hope it does come to next gen

Recently finished MGS4 on PS3 this month and I'm curious how they'll handle the Dualshock 3 that Old Snakes uses for the MK.II and Otacon mentioning the Blu Ray disk and I think they even mention PlayStation in there. Fantastic game

It was never "trapped" or "forgotten", you can always buy a cheap ps3 and play it easily. This remaster trend re-releasing the same games every few years is dumb and a cheap money grab. And for the love of god dont throw away or sell old consoles

Would you rather Konami make newer MGS titles without David Hayter or Kojima? They'd be garbage. My ps2 and ps3 died years ago, I did my time playing the OGs on the old systems. Im not gonna drop $200+ on a used system. I rather play these remastered collections on my ps5 and Platnium all of them. MGS Delta looks faithful and fantastic. Hopefully they nail it and remake 1-2.

@@homiesoprano Snake eater remake looks like shit (and it's not made with kojima either, funny u forgot about that) and the remasters were the bare minimum. Used systems don't cost 200+ at all, unless ur scammed. And if u didn't take care of ur old consoles thats on u. If you want to give Konami ur money for mediocre remakes then be my guest. If Konami really wants to return to videogames then they should have taken the risk with a new game, a mediocre remake of Snake eater in unreal engine is not enough

I could never get into Metal gear solid. I think I played a bit of it back like 25+ years ago at a friend of my brothers. but just didn't like it. then after Metal Gear Solid V came out what? 10 years ago? I tried that. loved the gameplay, however the gameplay got VERY repetitive. The story was trash.
