Every single game you’ve ever played had cut content. They released that chapter 3 footage for a reason. To tease you with something you were never going to get, but something you “know” existed. .

Battle gear was supposed play a bigger role. this is a bit whishy washy but Chico was supposed return with a massive scar on his face and a thirst for blood. More mission regarding Eli. More depth to paz's hallucinations.

i don't think skullface was trying to go after the medic in the hospital, otherwise, there was no point in the 20 minute speech skullface gives you that is meant to be directed at the boss. If he truly knew about the phantom, I don't think he would have prepared nine years to deliver a crazy monologue yap session to the wrong guy.

To this day there are certain things that I am wondering about: Why didn't Mantis read Ishmael's mind to realize he is the real Big Boss? Volgin would then go after him and not Venom. Did Big Boss actually use the Medic's identification papers, and "change his face, too", like Ocelot instructs him to do? Why does Ishmael have two clearly working eyes and no beard and mullet? His right eye even glances at the camera at times, very visibly. These are just three examples of some pretty strange writing choices from Kojima, a person who pays attention to every last detail in his games. Great video.

Mantis is very young and easily manipulated by outside factors, you notice who's controlling him by the flames, his mask looking liking skull faces, getting Eli's berret and at one point he gets Venom's horn so that could be why he can't use his powers fully yet by himself. No idea why Venom never changed the identity, maybe he did but didn't get surgery just a mask or something, sadly we'll never know unless Delta gets DLC or something. Like I said in the video my theory on Ishmaels model is just Venom's brain not allowing himself to see anyone but himself as Big Boss until AFTER he knows the "truth", i don't think it was glanced over but Kojima could also have just been fangirling over meeting Keifer, he's a geek just like the rest of us.

Thanks, I wouldn't say the game has many flaws, from a gameplay perspective it's very polished and the story we got is great it just dips because of Kojima wanting to put too much in for the time frames Konami gave him. It's a shame it feels unfinished but that's not on any one person

@@constantine8432 from a gameplay perspective the game is a 10/10. It ruined games for me for a while afterwards because why did nothing else feel as good to play as MGSV with the same amount of options and freedoms to tackle missions and how well snake handles in game.

The shootout Ishmael is supposed to help with gets bugged super easily. Literally just had my lady start playing yesterday and refused to help her. Whether it’s from her using checkpoints or cause my save data leaked somehow idk. If I had to guess they just copied soldier A.I. and didn’t play test it enough to see how often he actually helps you lol.

Yeah I remember the when I played on the PS4 day one of release Ishmael shot the second dude but every other time i've played he never helped. Also a lot of theories I've noticed via youtube and discussion pages all use that as apart of their theory to why Ishmael isn't real, that's really the only reason I mentioned it. It could be a glitch or it could have been patched out to make us question Ishmaels identity. I can't remember where I read it but one of the original ideas for "Truth" was to show Ishmael being a hallucination
