_This_ is what I want remakes to be. The same game with nothing cut, but you can run it on current gen systems (including PC/Steam Deck!) and it looks really pretty. That's it. What I’m saying homo is that i can play metal gear just fine without him. It’s still the same kojima story released two decades ago. His name is still in the title credits. Wow another team worked out the mechanics and updated graphics. I’m sure it’ll do just fine. And any future titles will be all the better for it. His heart isn’t in any metal gear projects anymore. Hasn’t really been for a long time. They just kept making him pump out more, and the team he wanted to pass it on to were too scared to do it without him. Kojima isn’t necessary for the continuation of metal gear, i don’t see how he’s necessary to enjoy a glorified remaster.

The tumultuous relationship between him and Konami and Konami’s decision to put out a work without his backing is what is the issue. I acknowledged in the comment that it looks great. I said it feels weird without Kojima. I don’t understand where you got your conclusion at but the person who created something is not a part of his creation and it feels weird. Graphics & CGI cutscenes were remade sure but gameplay wise still looks and feels the same. Although despite all these, I’d probably still give this game a go given how MGS3 was memorable for me growing up 🙂

15:21 that face rig is really bad. The graphics look phenomenal but the facial animations, and body animations are really bad. Naughty dog did 100x better on PS3 level Hardware. Honestly I'm scratching my head animation in rigging is one of the first things done, how did they get this far into production with facial animations looking like that🤷🏽

it even has the same stupid loading screens in between areas in the jungle? jesus christ dude... that was supposed to change and be different.. we need kojima to remake this game like a directors cut the way he would have wanted it to be.. i know for sure that the way the original was made was based on hardware limitations and not the original vision.. the remake was supposed to break down those limitations and open it up to greater possibilities.. this is just the same exact game.. im kind of worried about the mgs 1 remake but maybe not if theyre going to do it 100% perfectly faithful.. in that case perhaps theyre ready to do 1... but i mean there should be small differences but they have to be good and not stupid like the gamecube remake..
