This game changed all games forever. After I played MGS1 I remember trying to sneak around all enemies in games but they would know I was in the area. The next year it seemed like all the games imitated MGS1 from that point. MGS is the best franchise ever.

That's true, gameplay and graphics would be great but they should make something new (what they are doing now) and not repeat the same thing. We need a new storyline, new characters, new areas to infiltrate and explore. Seeing this game in a modern version would destroy the image of the original.

I been a fan of metal gear since playing the game on the SNES. Metal gear on ps1 blew my mind as a kid too see it come to 3d, the series keeps getting better and better. A remake is needed "not twin snakes" a real remake would be amazing and i think somebody will remake it with same dialogue and original voice acting remastered!!

Part of the song is used im sure but most of it is not theres a bit near the start of the song where it sounds like someone is breathing and you can here the smashed door that wont open. That is used when you are down in the gas room with the nikita missile.

@PineappleAlex Accoding to Kojima it's possible to go through the game and not kill a soul. It's meant to be Tactical Espionage Action it's just fast paced for the ninja. You have to gather energy from internal batteries from enemies and such but there is a lot of sneaking apparently.

I agree, especially about the original games being remade, with Hideo's close attention and care, or at least re-released again. I have the special edition of subsistence, with both games and the existence disc, they are actually great games, the second one definitely pushed the difficulty up. Anyway what I mean is if you ever get a chance to play them, don't pass it up.
