I’m eating good recently! As a metal gear fan listening to the Wulff bros talk about my favorite franchise 😆 2 weeks from now, “backlog number 364, METAL GEAR SOLID 3!”

This game played so well and it looked very impressive at the time, but what ruined it for me was the non-linear story, compared to older metal gear games. You were expecting a story that progressed and gave you a satisfying ending. Rather we menus with mission and random objectives stuff more suitable for Bite-Sized portable gaming not a AAA mainline entry to the series.

I wouldn’t say MGS5 is overrated, for the time it was on top of the gaming world when it comes to combat, movement, and gameplay. Even today the gameplay still holds up and is better than most triple A games releasing. BUT!… it is very hard to see this as a total complete package. I absolutely love this game. But I had problems. Like they said, repeat, copy and paste, reused missions when you get around 75% done with the story. Story is left on a cliffhanger and unfinished. Snake says a total of 9 words. Mandatory RPG complicated motherbase system. But I still love it.

I think MGS V was so overated. Worst in the series imo.
