That is a huge overlook by the devs! Wow! It simply screws everything regarding score attacking, which is the main focus in this game! Really, wow! It's so frustrating to set world records in modern games! Everything resets with new patches and you have to start from scratch. I was one of the main speedrunners in "Cuphead" when it got released, but the game received so many patches, and each one had a main exploit that changed the whole game, and each time you had to start from scratch, then thd DLC came and...I was so burned out, I just stopped entirely and resigned.

Was very frustrating during my charity streaming trying to keep a happy face, I just stuck to Leviathan mode..

Yeah, they need to sync correctly the patch if they plan to rework the scoring system. Otherwise, we'll have to keep downpatching the game when they release new dlc stuff
