This looks better than I expected it would on the Quest. It might be tough to hold out for the inevitable Quest 3 graphical update. Is it buggy?
@MetaQuestCentral2 ай бұрын
Yes, I experienced a few bugs with environments not appearin, I had to restart the level, and there were quite a few framerate drops...

@@MetaQuestCentral thanks! Actually I’d be shocked if a Quest game wasn’t buggy at launch. 😁 So it’s the usual wait for patches. The upside is if I wait long enough they’ll probably have a Q3 upgrade. I wish devs would work the other way. Port PCVR games down to Quest 3, then port down to Quest 2. We’d get Quest 3 games at launch and Q2 owners would likely get better ports. The last clean launch game I played on Quest was Propagation Paradise Hotel. I miss the days when Oculus owned Quest and they ran games through certification tests before launch. Way fewer bugs back then.

wait, is this a standalone version? wow, I'm so used to cardboard games even on PC that I didn't even think this was a quest3

Yes, it's the Quest 3 version (like all the videos on this channel) 😉

Hmm, so it starts you off with a cache of weapons? you don't have to earn them through game play? Also, Where is Paz?

What are all these arrows on each side of the reticle!? It looks messy to me.

It's the rhythm UI, you have to hit, shoot and such according to the timing of those arrows

@@soraudagawa3022 - I watched the video again and the arrows don't change anything to the gameplay except confuse us even more; there's so much stuff on the screen that I wish I could remove those arrows.

Some of the reviews on the store are pretty grim. As usual it seems Meta put another game up for sale during the development process, not after. Time to settle in, read the reviews and the inevitable update release notes, and wait for it to be finished. Witnessing the final leg of development of nearly every game isn’t what being a gamer used to be about. Do these developers even have QA departments anymore or are we the QA department? And why has Meta abandoned certification testing?

The game runs a lot better framerate wise when using ADB commands with either SideQuest or QGO, it doesnt fix the incredibly clunky cutscenes/animations though
@jioxxvr2 ай бұрын
@@friendhuman did you use ADB to decrease the resolution to boost the frame rate?

It's probably not the best as it's the only change I've tried, but it's working way better than base game
@jioxxvr2 ай бұрын
@@friendhuman that’s a cool idea to smooth out the frame rate, but I’m going to wait for the bug patches, inevitable “roadmap” of things they should’ve done before they released the game, and (I hope) a good Quest 3 update. I have a ridiculous backlog of games to finish so I can wait. 🙂 This has inspired me to try to tackle Hellsweeper again.
