I'm not willing to reset my progress to ditch the explosive slaughters to get up there again and the cheated runs are annoying, but seeing you still gunning for this stuff with normal gameplay is inspiring. That moment when I've just finished another run of Incaustis just for fun. Got ~14mil, which is okayish, but then I decided to check the top 10. The second place was 25mil. The first one was 46mil by someone with hieroglyphics for a name... Life is pain, lol.

The explosion slaughter is annoying for me sometimes because it ruins my multi slaughter combos but I will never try to get rid of it. my best score on this level on Goat difficulty is about 14 mill which is pretty good but still not your level lol

In game is set to 8, not sure what my DPI is. I normally try to make it so that a full 360 requires the left to right of my mouse pad.

I am agree with people that this game has some really bad decisions and is bad at showing rhythm in a background and enemies But Jesus Even with it It looks and feels so badass P.s. I am trying to get in the rhythm of crows, but kinda hard to adapt

Well it took only a bit for me (maybe 10 hours max) but this was also after 1k hours in Doom Eternal, plus time in other FPS games. It all somewhat translates so it's unfair of me to say 'i figured it out quick". I can't comment much on console either, and as far as calibration I just kept tweaking it until I got it right.

What sigils do you use? I usually use Ghost Rounds + Ultimate Sovereignty both are now at Level 3.

For most levels I'll use Ultimate recharge and the one that allows you to take several hits/miss beats but retain hit streak. Keep in mind I also use save files that haven't beaten Nihil for levels before Nihil, so that I do not have Explosive Slaughter upgrade for such levels, making double death from above slaughters easier to set up and perform.

@@BloodShot9001 I did see it in action, afaik it’s called Streak Guardian. Moreover, my 2 main weapons are the crossbow and revolver. Ghost Rounds which allow for ammo-less shots work great with Vulcan.

@@maolenvinpelaez2199 Vulcan is kinda useless for non-Arch Devil runs cause you can't set up reliable glory kills on Marionettes with it. Ghost Rounds is ok, but it's not that great for score runs. Can technically help save some time theoretically but it's a marginal benefit on non-Arch Devil (even Arch Devil I think it's only ok).

Is this your preferred weapon/perk layout for all maps? If so, why is that? Just curious what the best score hunting setup would be.

It is, yes. For Beast difficulty, pistols set up Marionettes for Slaughter in one shot at x8/x16. On lower difficulty, 1 sword strike does it instead (pistols kill on lower difficulty), and double slaughters are the go to for score. As far as sigils, there's not many that are absolutely needed. In fact I use the one that prevents hit streak from getting lost even though that's objectively not helpful if we assume "perfect runs". I'm just not at that level yet.
