Darko gives me the feelings metalcore first gave me with the extreme contrast between heavy and clean with the electronic elements. Obviously this is on another level, but it still feels fresh and exciting. I'm happy metal seems to be in a good place and has no signs of slowing down despite what some people think. 🤘😈🔥

I think I was coming at all this from a very different perspective than some of you. My comment had nothing no to do with viewers’ respect or lack thereof. I just think simple ignorance can be funny; as someone who usually always goes back over a band’s discog from start to finish when I get into them, it’s just ironic in a funny way to me that big fans of Lorna Shore and/or Will don’t know the history there (to be clear: that’s not a judgment on my part, I could not care less whether or not anyone else enjoys music the way I do). Really I was just having a laugh and hoping maybe some Will fans would see a comment like mine and go “wtf?!” and then check out LS’s early stuff, even if they don’t end up liking it.

i think it's interesting how this kind of metal have lots of similarities with other genres like rap or electronic, i see some kind of mainstream attraction in music, even from genres that i wouldn't expect. i also think that this is a beautiful thing, and this darko song fucking smash ass, it reminded me a little of the tones switch of sleep token. thanks for the laughter, Nik!

Funny thing is I took a lesson from Tom before and he said his "tunnel throat sound" is just his fry scream. He said he does a goblin style fry scream and it makes that disgusting sound that's almost like a tunnel throat. I had the misconception thinking he was doing tunnels before but he said its all just fry. I would highly suggest taking a personal lesson from him if he has the time.
