Motorhead were the first band that truly moved me. I had been listening to bands like the Pistols and the Clash in the UK and someone said "have you heard Motorhead" When I did, there was no looking back. That was 1978. Ultimate respect to the great man.

People like Lemmy don't come around very often, and when they do, we sometimes don't cherish them the way they deserve. But in Lemmy's case, I think he would tell us to fuck off if we got too sentimental. I admire him enormously. One of a kind. Missed x

It is historical abuse of the truth to keep nailing on the rusty Big4 nail - as far as TM inception goes, it is criminal to leave Exodus and Overkill out in the cold. Actually, the process just made those two USTM stalwarts become more hard-boiled and resilient, in spite of line-up changes chez Exodus. And speaking of Overkill, that leads us to our globally collective Alma Pater, that is Ian Fraser Kilmister, of the Fraser Clan. In ''Overkill'' the track, he operated his first Quantum Physics experience after the Hawks - to reduce an entire speed marathon to the time and length of a mile run. Thank You, Lemmy, definitely yet miraculously, You kept us on the road for FOUR full decades. Cheers, Mate!

I spoke eiyj him for an hour sipping Bourbon snd coke znoTJack thats Wiskey when we walked intothe topples bar `I recomended when he said there must be someplace better thsn this going on sround here I saw just shoulders shrug from the others and said Kwmmy I have a sugestion . There is a good sizw bar with a couple pool tables decent musuc and drinks and the girls do not pressure you so hard for money like many others like it do. He looked a liittle puzzled by that and I said after dancing toppless of course. He replied firmly SOUNDS GOOD LETS GO! He spoke with me for an hour or so like a friend!

Paco Rabanne, do you really think I will go out and buy your "fragrance" when you interrupted my enjoyment of a video about Lemmy? Do you really think that an audience of Metal Lovers who tend to wear jeans and t-shirts will turn off the stereo and rush out to buy your shit because you interrupted my video with male models in sharp suits? Do you need a new advertising executive who can re-direct your nonsense to people who give a toss?
@igorbojceski52627 жыл бұрын
I think he was murdered.... you don't catch cancer like that and died several days after- they've got the new album earlier that year, also a shows, but with cancer is impossible to work. I know from personal experience that cancer kills slovly and with pain. Yours bones got softm hair falls, also teeth too. Lemmy gor diagnoses at his birthday-24-12 (ChristMass) and died four days after whitch is impossible
@filipendris36417 жыл бұрын
Use your brain or at least your eyes, he was DIAGNOSED with cancer on his birthday but that doesn't say how long before he went to see a doctor he had it in his body. And you can bet he was in pain for quite some time but he just carried on doing what he loved the most in the world.
@igorbojceski52627 жыл бұрын
it's not all about pain- cancer spread all over body and within a months symptoms are clear- fall ov hear, teeth, losing weight unable to stand withouth someone , movements are disordinated- in short, unable to work any physical work- and that is year in wich the recorded album and shows- man with cancer could live but he cannot sing or play or drink alcohol- two of my father brothers died from cancer and I know how they look like before they've died- an around year after they've been diagnosed- noone can fight last stadium of cancer, and, believe me it's not four days. Also you cannot cancer that long- you will visit doctor about some pain in you, something like that- but noone of his friends or relatives know about it simply because there was not cancer- and, from all days in year he fell sick on his birthday?(if he was keeping pain from them- how come nobody sees the symptns in his voice, playing, eat or shit etc?) Yes, I still think that powerfull morons know how to infected human with cancer- where is AIDS this days?)
@filipendris36417 жыл бұрын
Check some of the situantions during the past year, one show ended after just 2 songs becuase lemmy just couldnt go on, they saw he is far from ok but when he got on stage the adrenalin make him go. And although I dont know that much about cancer I know there are like gazilion different types and I am pretty sure they have different symptoms. Also the doctor gave lemmy several months to live (half a year I think but I am not sure). Don't be mistaken state of mind can "kill you" If you are that ill and you really want to go.
