I absolutely love that you took the time to research who Becky G was as well as listen to the original song. I could watch you doing that forever because it pays respect to the original musicians and to the work and individual style that they've put on the song. I also didn't know the original song or Becky G before watching this, but I enjoyed learning how much this song meant to a lot of people, including J-hope himself. Apparently he paid a lot of money to be able to use this song because it played a big role in his getting into dance.

NEURON was the name of J-Hopes dance crew when he first started street dancing. This song was one of the first he learned to dance too. He paid I believe 2.7 million to the original song owners to remake this song THEN puts it online for FREE to download. If that ain’t class I don’t know what is!

I mean the whole song is a different vibe, the hook (CNS & soda, lets get it, let it rain and clear it out) is what JHope paid US$2.7 million to use, the song is free so JHope/BeckyG aren’t getting anything from it. JHope & Becky G both rapping/singing about what they’ve come from (which is also what Young B in OG was doing), and they are both paying homage to the OG song which was important to them. JHope said this is the song that got him into dance. And yes CNS is the comfort food, which is what it was about in the OG

Dude, like their solo work is INSANE. AgustD (SUGA) is very deep, real and fast on his solo work, RM has very versatile work where he shows his rapping skills but also his very deep dark slo-mo style, and Hope's work is just like this song, literally he made the beat with his style, so Yeah! all of them are straight fire and they keep their lyrics very realistic. (Also, the solos of the vocal members are winthin their albums as a group and dont dissapoint at all) Looking forward to your reactions!!

A little late but some info on the original. It was a big song for the black community starting in Harlem and spreading even to the Caribbean where I'm from. It"s the song that was played at family gatherings, cookouts, school dances and of course it was huge in the dance community. People would start singing it and you'd freestyle on the spot, lots of dance battles and collabs were born from this beat. So it's no surprise it spread through dance culture to Korea where it influenced JHope who years later payed tribute with this remix / remake. :)

I think that this version be represents jhope‘s solo work, he is all about oldschool funky vibes. RM has a various range but his thing is really being open with his feelings and sincerity, his first mixtape was full of rage and hip hop. His second one was unexpectedly soft and showed his growth as a human, the lyrics are so comforting! Suga‘s tape is also a bit angry and ends with a hopeful song and I love it. His lyrics are direct and without filter, he raps about his struggles and so many people could relate to it. Everyone is waiting for his second tape to drop. V, Jimin and Jin have also made their own songs , they are on soundcloud, these are softer and mellower songs but full of emotion. Jungkook has recently said that he is working on his own tape

I never thought how a metal dude would fanboy J-Hope, and I love how BTS lets people cross over all sorts of lines. I never knew about the original, or thought about what this song means or the original, until I saw this reaction video and comments. It makes me like the mv and J-Hope more. I am secretly hoping BTS will make a ramen song that’s a hip hop dance killer. There’s chicken noodle soup, so why not the comfort food that unites Asia and the greater world? Pro-love => anti-hate. Common > difference. All the boys can contribute their memories of ramen and passion for it toward composing the lyrics. Suga can put together all the Asian instruments, maybe in the style of gamelan, and also all the historical, cultural, natural elements of our common world. It can be a tie-up with Nissin, and Naomi Osaka (sponsored by Nissin) doing a Tik Tom dance and forwarding the challenge to her beau Cordae, fellow tennis players like Nishikori and Serena and maybe some of the older ones, with Serena spreading it to her famous friends. All the ramen shops can play the music, all over the world. Complete with forward hip hop fashion and crazy set, They can even sell merch like ramen bowls and graphic t-shirts. Everyone who’s ever eaten cup o noodle type food shall dance away, and it will be played somewhere for a long time. Little kids will sing it and try to dance to it. If you want fire from Members of BTS in their Solo, then Suga has AgustD - it really brings out his production genius to the surface. RM has Rap Monster, Mono. The first Mixtape is very aggressive and Mono is very Chill, but very deep.... Moonchild is my favourite from Mono, Joke and DO you from Rap Monster Hobi has Hope World! It is a really great mixtape imo! Do check them out! :D There is also A free track they did during their Debut anniversary event celebration - Muster. The track is called Ddaeng '땡'. The audio is on Soundcloud. You should most definitely react to this!! When you do and if you do, watch DKDKTV's explained on Ddaeng after you listen to the song! The wordplay in Korean will blow your mind!! The vocal line does have some of their own solos but they are just soundcloud solos, but still great. Jungkook is the only member who doesnt have his own produced solo outside of the group discography YET. But he has a lot of covers of English and Korean songs! :D Also when you do Fake love, can you also listen to Fake Love - Rocking Vibe remix on their soundcloud too?
