Glad to see SWS returning to their roots. If only other bands would follow suit. There is a way to mix new and old instead of just changing everything, and it really shows here. I would love to see a reaction to Palaye Royale!! They are a fashion styled rock band with influences from the 60s to early 2000s modernized. Everyone is saying this is heavier than Asking Alexandria and BMTH, but Danny Worsnop of AA fucked up his vocal cords so he can’t scream like he used to, and as for Oliver Sykes of BMTH, he still can scream, just look up Bring Me The Horizon- Pray For Plagues live 2019 and you’ll see how much better he got at screaming.

I didn’t grow up with SWS, and I remember being so disappointed when I moved on from the first two albums and realized how overproduced everything became. That was even before Gossip came out, and they became closer to an alt-pop band. This still sounds a bit overdone, but at least the heaviness is towards the forefront as opposed to just the vocals. I’ll be keeping an eye on the band.

I know its heavier, but i still think its bad.. feels bland, the lyrics dont offer any kind of real feel, and honestly, it looks like theyre just trying to gimmick their old style but without their hearts on it. I said it once, but god ot feels so bland.. i mean, fuck the breakdown, anyone can make a breakdown and a lead following standart hora progressions, if SWS wasnt alreadyy huge, nobody would give a shit about this track. heavier or not, I hate but have to admit these guys have kind of lost me since Gossip came out. Kellin's vocals just feel too pitchy and those lyrics are way too repetitive and uninspired. after Gossip was released, such songs feel like a forced effort to please the crowd while these guys aren't for this type of music anymore. I am glad you liked it, I guess these guys just aren't for me anymore.
