I reaaaally recommend checking out their previous album, The Color Clear. There are songs as heavy as this, but there are also more melodic and ambient songs. There's a good variety in The Color Clear.
@DevinMarkovichMetal5 жыл бұрын
Man... if anyone is here listening, they are probably familiar with The Color Clear! Us die hard Reflections fans have been waiting 4 years. This release was highly anticipated. Also.... this is literally the first new track they have dropped. The Color Clear is an absolutely beautiful album, however I think there will be some melodic sounding songs on the new album! This track is heavy as all fuck. I think it's to catch all of our attention.

@RyansResolve5 жыл бұрын
Fun fact most people don’t know: the vocalist (Jake) has said in interviews that he has always written the drum parts for their music and then let the actual drummer (Nick) put his spin on it. He has a beautiful drum kit and although I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing him use it in a video or anything, he obviously must shred. I also was expecting at least a chorus or some sort of focal point but I love the fuck out of their aggressive side so I’m not complaining.

I don't have a CD player anymore, but I pre-ordered the new Reflections already. I can't say enough about this band. I've followed from the very start of The Fantasy Effect and they are just one of the most standout best bands across all the metal genres I listen to. It all started with guitar playthroughs with Patty and Charles. Was sad when Charles left, but we got Berried Alive so I can't complain. The band went on hiatus after The Color Clear, very happy to have them back and this song to reintroduce themselves is very fitting!
