METAL SLUG: what is was, where it has been and where I want it to go.

Johns on this taking more than a week, I thought sony was going to show off metal slug 8 at the last ps4 event and waited a few extra days to make sure this entire thing didn't become redundant.
Fingers crossed we get something about MS at TGS somehow despite SNK not having any announced presence. I've noticed some light metal slug promoting going on and expect some sort of announcement in the next few months.

The art was good enough to make me really try and like the game but I just couldn't force myself. Almost relapsed when gathering pics and gifs for the video though, really really hope some of the msa stuff finds its way into a hypothetical rebooted metal slug series.

Metal Slug has been my favorite franchise ever since I played the first one in a movie theater lobby waiting for my brother's film to finish. On a completely unrelated note I have mild depression.

Fantastic video, as usual, with one caveat. Animating a bunch of smaller sprites together to represent a really big boss was a common technique used at least since the famicom

I was once never cared about Metal Slug mobile games but then I accidentally came across some of its arts and got curious only to feel an insufferable amount of pain of how criminally good it is GOD they can even play it cheap by releasing an actual game with reused assets from that game

I remember randomly finding Metal Slug 3 in a rich friend of a mines apartment complex in hong kong and remember saying to him after playing it "This is the most fun game I've ever played", most unique game I've ever played

Fucking perfect video, as a kid I remember my uncle loading up some bootleg ass arcade emulator and showing me metal slug when I was like.. 6. I still love the series and wishes it makes a good comeback since I really do love all the character and charm that the games have.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the comeback game, snk seems to flip back and forth between trying to accumulate audience goodwill and being kinda scummy. The only real details for the new game are they're playing around with ideas for easy modes and the new game is targeting the 30-40 y/olds who played the original.

11:18 I feel it really could work given 7's bosses are just so admirable in their presentation, just add lives or multiple hits to be able to take like in tencet's project. They're easily the best set of bosses thus far from any Ms title, just too bad the stages are dog Doo Doo in that game That aside, lovely video. You need more subs, hopefully in due time.

if there is a game that needs a sequel is metal slug 3d because it really had the potential to be a good game like it had good story and great soundtracks sadly it only got released only in japan also really great video hope you make more videos like this in the future

MSA is pretty f2p friendly, there are a lot very strong f2p units in the game and you can grind the medals very easily. still, nice video tho ^^ I would like to see more MS related vid in the future

It's sad to see cool IP's stuck in gambling hell. It reminds me of the konami pachinko machines, like the metal gear solid 3 one with brand new HD assets. Feels like someone is trying to maximize how upset they can make their fans.

Nice vídeo, when I First download msa I give 1 star, uninstall the app and leave an angry comment, but I return for one unit that I never saw, the ptolemaic land bowl fish and I think wow I wish this was in the regular games and then I fall for the boobs and in a wink 2 years have passed.

Yea i did play that mobile game as i liked the pixel art And characters Its predatory way To try get my money did get tiring so i stoped I didnt spend a dime and i did collect lots of cool characters but game play yea.... Its not that good

Yeah I saw, I've watched the trailer like 20 times now, extremely excited. The guy who did the sonic mania OST is also doing the soundtrack for this and I don't think they could have found a better person. hope this game is good, we'll need something to offset how bad I expect the leaked marvel xcom thing to be

@@foulenergy I haven't been paying attention to E3 at all recently and initially wasn't hyped about this either until after watching the trailer several times and realized what was going on and what they were doing. So I'm significantly hyped for this now at least.
