Both Believing and Monochrome were both written by Yuyoyuppe. He also wrote Karate, Rondo of Nightmare, GJ!, Kagerou and from Dusk till Dawn. Facinating song. I don't know if it's actually underated, or just lost in the mix of an amazing album, but it rarely gets reacted to. No official MV might contribute to that. This is the song i was most intrested in the run up to the album launch. The scale used after the line 'in gods hands' in this song is bizzare, it's like a new scale was invented for the song. The jerky opening riffs remind me of bird dance, but the more explosive riffs towards the end are more like the mating dance of a T-Rex lol. Su's blasting out of the chorus is glorious! and Moa's backing vocals sound gorgeous.

Thanks again from Japan有難う💛。This song does not have any advantage for Japanese viewers like me, because the lyrics are in English 😄 . Su and Moa made comments on the TOO album in an interview in the magazine PMC vol.27 that was published in April 2023. [page 41]. Su mentioned in the interview the different personality expressed in other language (for her) and said "This song has other people's perspective which may look at the same thing differently. It fits with the concept of The Other One that represents another world of BABYMETAL". Speaking of the line in the lyrics "Leave everything in God's hand", it reminds me of God not being ultimate, commanding and preachy existence but a kind of referee who tosses a coin. I read a book that explains the difference in distance between God and man. In the Western notion, the precedence comes one and only God → universe → man → nature. In Japan, however, universe and nature are given then God → man when you refer to Japanese oldest book, Kojiki (古事記). Western God is far remote from man whereas god(s) and man have close vicinity or proximity in Japanese notion.

Always loved this song and speaking of the guitars, I wonder if the Kami band have ever mentioned what songs they absolutely love playing. Probably not; they are so professional and just play everything like the gods they are. And Su. Always marvel and always wonder how she keeps surprising me.

Su's voice is amazing live. They overproduce her too much, in my opinion, on the albums. I suppose they are trying to make her sound younger on the albums, but she kills it live.
