Usually Su does the song Headbanger. But on special occasions (birthdays) others will take the lead. Yui did for her 15th Birthday. Moa did it for her 15th and 20th, and in this version, this is the day before Momo turned 21.

To be precise , the song was written for 15 ( the end of basic school education) and later adapted to 20 (japanesr age of full adulthood) Momo became a full member of Babymetal after her 20th birthday, so they put her birthday show to the last day of her 20th and 21th birthday.

No this song was first an idea of Olli . They were friends for years. When Sus english capabilities Were still rather limited Olli offered his services as a local guide. From this time on they had the idea to make a song together. When Babymetal went into their covid hiatus Olli remembered to the old idea and that Babymetal was a 10 year contract. So this was their last chance. Koba had given Su free reignabout their resourced

Metal and pop, adorable and creepy, disciplined and chaotic: there will never find another group quite like BABYMETAL. Welcome to BABYMETL!🤘🦊♪

No, Babymetal is not a cult, except maybe... when Su-metal gets crucified on stage, but only then 😂

Co-producer of the that Bring Me The Horizon album is: Mick Gordon, known for creating game soundtracks like the Doom games. So this is why they could add some of the electronic effects, etc.

26:59 20 years old is when a Japanese girl come to adulthood like 18 in most other countries, thus the special brithday night. (Back then it was 15 when the girls were younger, it's like the first time you go on yourself to a metal concert for your birthday night) Guess what? This show to honor the newest member who just past 20th years old too, thus here you see Su gave the mic and go down bowing in the second half of the song

Mosh pits and circle pits, different things, but they do both.
@emilyporter1186Ай бұрын
1) the circle running is sometiems callled a circle of death - not exactly the same as a mosh pit but also often seen at metal concerts. There are also mosh pits and walls of death at their concerts 3) the vocals are so stable cuz Sumetal's vocal and breath control is INSANE and have been since she was a kid 2) Ok tbf in japan concerts generally involve fans WAY MORE than most western countries do. Like many songs are written with certain parts for audience participation built in to them (as seen with the collective jumping, shouting, etc). Its really fun and you can feel how hype everyone is and be part of the experience yourself! But also yeah we're lowkey a cult 😇

A no, they were not featured for the concert. This Live concert was Babymetals thank you for a collaboration, that happened three years earlier. To be precise, the, were able to organize this Festival in Japan with the friendly support of Babymetal. They were friends for years and always wanted to do a Collab together. So in the beginning of Corona Okli decided we have to do this now. So he send her some ideas and she sang them, but he got more and mire involved and she did what she was taught to do and woke her production staff and then he started to talk. And her production staff got busy. This worked due to ancient orders by Koba. He wanted to avoid that someone broke Su's ideas And this back and forth is thevdifference between an old collab (featured ) where such a Collab does not occur, instead they make room for the other artist. A better definition is in the Behind the scenes of RaTaTaTa. So Ollie started to talk about hisvideas ans the Babymetal staff discovered how good they really were and the came to the modern Collab ( the ominous x between the Band names. When they realizedvthatvthree years laterbthey would finally get their first chance to stand together on Stage. This was a rotally new Bab,metal and Moa acquired Michikos help sonce she would have to change zhe Choreo if something did not work. And in fact the first performance 2asca desaster. Su was pverpaced and had no breath to sing. This the difference between Amateurs and professionals. You don't worry but start to overworkbwhat dailed..

Babymetal does a lot of collabs. I'd highly recommend their most recent - "Ratatata" with Electric Callboy.

This is their thing. At their first metal concerts they observed metal fabs that made the sign of the devil. In Japan thid sign is unknown and the closest reference for them were shadowplay signs of the Fix Kitsune. Abd Koba didn't correct zhem but developed the FoxGod.

Those were only the old Kamis they were their Background Band. Since April 2023 they only use the Kamiband west American musicians.

In Europe they had no haters. What is metal is more or less developed by tjeir PR. Momo is a growler. Thid means she can growl but she has also a Clean Voice. In Germany even Heilung is described as Metal. In reality they are practical Archeology.

If bowing to someone was a cult, many cultures are doomed. I'd certainly not give my morality, beliefs, money or firstborn to Babymetal. So it's not a cult. (And also because I have none of any of them to give. 😉)

I dont know if its a thing the always do, but when I saw them live they had one mosh pit for going full on fakking Mad Max and one "friendlyt" pit where pushing shoving kicking and punshing is strictly prohibited. They did this because their audience is LITERALLY people from all ages and backgrounds. With pure bread metal heads there is an unspoken agreement when you go into the pit, everyone knows what it is, what might happen and why they still wanna do it. With an audiece like Babymetal has, ALOT of people doesnt know, Id bet good money MOST of their audience doesnt know the metal head codex. In this particualr case, there were alot of young children there, not *_young_* young, no one was breasfeeding in the mosh pit, but kids of age 6-7 up to like 12 who were there with their parents. They ofc wanted to be part of the culture and do what everyone else was doing whc, for reasons I dont need to explain, would be a literal blood bath. The "friendly" pit was so the kids could also take part and dont feel left out without risking having their heads bashed in by some dude 4 times ther size who is used to just bounshing around without looking, which is ofc the whole point with a moshpit. You should never intentionally hurt someone, you should party so hard that someone WILL get hurt even tho youre NOT trying. I think the "friendly" pit is the sweetest thing Ive ever seen. And for the girls to actually lthink of that to include the kids, to let them have all the same fun as everyone else without putting them at risk. They really are the sweetest girls in the entire world.
@AKJACKAL99709Ай бұрын
Not a BabyMetal thing, but related to your comments on pits... At the Rocklahoma festival here in the states the past two years they have started to have all-female pits. There are dudes that volunteer to man the perimeter to make sure guys don't get in, crowd surfers get diverted around it, and that girls get picked up quickly if they fall. It is awesome that girls can mosh without really big drunk dudes hurting them. That said, however, some of those girls go HARD in there so it is not for the little kids.
