Great Analysis/Review! IDZ is one of my all time fave Babymetal songs! On another more serious note: About the time Babymetal's IDZ video posted, there were already Big problems in Japan, with school kids getting brutally bullied, beaten, psychologically affected by their tormentors. A jpn news story re: A pair of school kids (boy & girl), suffering from relentless bullying, decided to end it. They jumped out of a building window & died. These weren't the only suicides caused by bullying. It got so bad in other Jpn schools teachers couldn't even deal with, or stop these vicious punks. Quite a few (Most) of them chickened out & turned away. Said bullies were often protected by their unwitting parents, which made them more emboldened to persecute their helpless Victims. I was aware of Japan's schools//teachers lacking the backbone to do anything about it. After hearing IDZ I thought this song & video could've been a Great Public Service announcement, bringing to light the mental & physical abuse going on, but I guess the Metal side of Babymetal's music would likely have been rejected anyways. Too bad, I think it could've worked out well had wiser minds embraced the idea of putting out Antibullying Public Service announcement adds, & guidance from law enforcement, teachers/PTA members, etc. I don't know if this problem has been addressed or not. I sincerely hope so! Srry for the long text! Cheers! 🤘🦊

@@bonhzeppelin55 you're all good. The interesting part is I can kinda atone to IDZ being in the same vein as POD's Youth of the Nation. They each have a similar message behind them about the struggles the youth face on a daily basis. But not only that they share the common goal in acceptance and wanting to end these tragedies. Music is life and without music there isn't much life.

IDZ is always worth revisiting and reviewing - and well done going for the official MV, it doesn't always get the appreciation it deserves. Good Job.👍🦊🤘 Yui and Moa with the guitars ... they were playing every bit as much as the Babybones ever played theirs.🎸😉

It is just a brilliant song. I love going back to it any time I get the chance to. The music video is just top notch, really brings out the visuals behind the instrumentals and vocals. ☝️🦊🤘

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🚫 There is an alternate "Nemesis" version of this song, found on limited editions of the single. It features guitars recorded by former Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott. Sadly there's no live version, but you can find the audio on KZbin, etc.

The Nemesis vers. If I recall correctly is strictly instrumental w/o vocals. Cheers! 👉🦊👈
