Bryce Pinkham never ceases to amaze me. He is an American broadway actor and actually does not have any kind of English accent when he speaks normally, so it’s all character acting. To be able to sing a beautifully as him, and pour so much emotion and genuineness into his songs, while character acting with an accent is WILD! Truly inspiring ❤ And Brandon Rogers who also writes on the show is the perfect Blitz. Definitely wouldn’t be the same if someone else was cast instead.

​@@elgood148 I don't remember a video about it but it was when Stolas sang about Blitz in season 2 episode 1 People were like " it's not good " because it was not "perfect" but that was just because Stolas was crying and the way Bryce sang it was just in character and emotional lol It is the reason I love hearing Stolas singing the most

idk how much you know about the actors but Bryce (Stolas) has performed in musical theater that’s why he’s so emotional and ofc his vocal range is just SO good!! and then Brandon (Blitzø) is just Blitzø irl LMAO. he has his own youtube channel where he does skits with raunchy humor. Viv (the creator) reached out to him personally; he loved the concept of Helluva Boss and now he co-writes it. it’s awesome 😆🔥

The sheer contrast between Bryce Pinkham and Brandon Rogers performances are just something else. One is an established broadway actor who has done several performances whether it be "A Gentlemans guide to love and murder" or "Little shop of Horrors". And the other a raunchy video sketch comedian who has been around on youtube for well over a decade. Like Bryce is always so capable of bringing his A-game for Stolas, getting so into character and doing it all this amazingly! And Brandon basically IS Blitzo. He has already mentioned several times in interviews, podcasts, and at cons how he sees so much of himself in Blitzo, both in his raunchy hillarious attitude which shines through all of Brandons work, but also his emotional side which he really doesn't cover himself! Like you could only get something like Blitzo from both Brandons performance and writing, and Vivienne Medranos overall vision and guidance for these characters and the whole series! Just god frickin damn this series its so good! Heck you dont even think about it much anymore but its so crazy that something like this can even exist, not on a TV channel or major streaming service with a tight controlling studio at the back, but on KZbin, free to watch, and with near complete creative control! Heck it works so well exactly because of and in spite of this!

What's awesome about these kinds of behind-the-scenes looks at actors in the recording booth is the visible syncing between the actors and their characters. Watching Bryce, you can see him (pun intended) getting more and more into the performance, until he practically *_is_* Stolas for how much he's feeling the bird's pain. Brandon, of course, is pretty much _always_ an imp. S'kinda his _shtick._

Who ever casted them is genius: I mean a KZbinr and writer/actor teams up with a webcomic creator and trained animator to tell a story.. you are totally gonna get genius... especially if you have the genius move to cast your co-writer and co-creator for the series as the main character.

if you havent checked out his content yet i reccomend you watch some of Brandon Rogers (blitz's voice actor) youtube skits, they arent animated but they are all super funny and its kind of cool since some of the characters Brandon plays on his channel act almost exactly like Blitz does despite multiple (actually most i think) having been created long before Helluva Boss came out

Interestingly, around 5:36 when you speak about his actual accent and voice coming through, its not. Bryce is actually American and has an American accent. this always amazes me how well he sings and does a Perfect English accent for Stolas. im English and he fooled me lmao

agreed, that behind the scenes was absolutely amazing 😂 and dudeee season 2 ep 9 Apology Tour is out - you will die John 😂🖤 EASILY the best Helluva Boss episode so far and for the great casting you can thank Vivienne Medrano🙏🏼 Brandon Rogers recently said in an interview that from what he knows Vivienne didn't have anyone else in mind for the role except for him. He also said that Vivienne often creates the characters with a voice or a person for the voice in mind already. If you check her channel and go to the oldest videos some of her first are her head canon casting voices for Hazbin Hotel cast YEARS before the pilot even dropped and even back then she wanted Amir Talai for the role of Alastor, so wild she actually got him in the end btw your name John Reaves is probably the biggest cowboy name - sounding name ever, so dope❤
