If not, it was never meant to be’ It’s so important that Stolas has come to this realisation and I hope it works out for the both of them, I’m sure the rest of season 2 will be a rollercoaster of emotions but I’m so ready for it ☺️

Something I love about the animation is the way Stolas' tear turns into a meteor shower, a visual callback to Azathoth's tears, the "hopes and dreams that never came to be", as Stolas sings about letting go of Blitz. I'm not sure if it's deliberate, might be overthinking it, but it was what it made me think of :) It's just a beautiful song, I've been singing it all week.

The fact that viv changed "my little impish little plaything we both made our choice" to "dearest i know better now i must give you this choice" is beautiful So ye, he want to give Blitz a choice to use Asmodeus crystal to get access to real world and that can sever their relationship because he wont have to use his book anymore so their relationship will not be seen as 'a contract' for mutual gain.

Bryce Pinkham just knocks this out of the park! It’s funny that the first time I ever saw him in anything wasn’t Broadway related, but rather the PBS Civil War drama Mercy Street, where he played an eccentric doctor. As Stolas, he is bringing everything to the table. Both this show and Hazbin have had some of the best voice acting I have ever heard. I am both excited for and dreading the next episodes, because I know they are going to rip my heart out❤️

Stolas recognizes that Blitz has his walls up, and no matter what he's tried, he just cant break through those emotional wall barriers and get through to him.. its such a tragic situation to see someone you love in so much hidden pain and not being able to, or even have them let you try to help them. He just wants Blitz free - from the deal, free from himself. He just wants him happy and he loves him so much 😭❤ Just let him in a little bit, Blitzy, this story is hurting my heart.

Bryce BLEW it out of the water with this song. It's definitely in my top 3 from this show, it's very emotional and really knows how to carry its message! Stolas' sadness and longing for Blitz bleed in so perfectly into his lines, it's hard not to feel bad for him... This song is 10/10. My heart is hurting, but my ears are in heaven!

You make a very good point there. The whole vastness of space is beautiful and all but it has to be very lonely if its your sole life purpose to guard it. No one's there. It's just him. Stolas is already a very isolated person so this job probably makes him feel even more alone than he already is. I hadn't even thought of that. Blitz and Stolas are polar opposites and yet so similar. They were made for eachother, proven by the red string of fate you see in the video. Based on the latest trailer we're in for quite the wild ride but i too have hope for these two. Also, there's a ton of symbolism in this video. Such as the moon phases but also the color changes. When Stolas sings the second verse you see a trail of gold following the moon. Remember that bad trip in Truthseekers? There's that exact same gold trail in the background where Blitz gets told he will die alone. When Stolas sings the final chorus and takes his leap of fate to touch the moon (aka blitz), the gold hues disappear and change into blue and red instead, symbolising Stolas reaching out for Blitz once more and not giving up on him. However, the moon has gotten too big and impossible to reach at that point. So instead Stolas gets pushed away to drown in his tears of sorrow. Its just beautiful and so heartbreaking.

This song just devastates me 😩 like you said, the ball will now be in Blitzø’s court after he is gifted the Asmodean crystal. But I truly hope Stolas explains his feelings well because as of yet he has never explicitly expressed them to Blitzø! And with everything- the power dynamic, the deal, the derogatory names Stolas has used, the preconceived notions about royalty- I truly understand why Blitzø denies their relationship could be meaningful. But as viewers, we can obviously see that Stolas is in love with Blitzø, and we can tell that Blitzø has feelings for Stolas. I feel that is their biggest hurdle- communication. As far as we know, they haven’t seen each other since “Seeing Stars” which was after Ozzie’s and they never touched on that subject. *deep breath* they have a lot to talk through, I’m holding on hope that they are able to in Full Moon 🙏🏻💞

It's Blitzo. He's going to take it wrong and think the crystal is a payoff because Stolas is done with him - and if they do reconcile its only going to be after Stolas is brought low by his brother-in-law's machinations.

Near the end, when Stolas is in that body of water while shedding tears? It's eerily reminiscent of that one line from Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid: "But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more.' Cause Stolas is the type of character who RARELY cries, so when he was crying in this music video, his tears were indistinguishable from the water he was in. But much like the Little Mermaid in Andersen's work, Stolas is choosing to let Blitzø go... 😢

When this came out I cried. I cried hard because I was in a rough spot and this song was literally on a loop for a few days. I even heard the story that Bryce Pinkham actually broke down in the studio recording this so we've all been there. This song really gives another dimension to what is going on currently and what the feelings are going into the full moon.

I love the use of reflection in this song, the number of times we think we're looking at something but it's just a mirrored image. To me it reinforces the turmoil and uncertainty in the lyrics - what's going to happen next? Are we looking at something real, or just a facsimile that will shatter the moment we touch it? The visuals in Stolas' songs are always stunning, but I love that they also reflect (no pun intended) and reinforce what's happening in the lyrics.
