JIMBO'S GARAGE

Жыл бұрын

I made this metal speakeasy gate for a client that I have done a lot of work for. Something like this is very hard to price because of the amount of work that goes into making it. I have a ton of hours into this thing. It was a very difficult build because of the precision it took to make it fit and work nicely.

Jimbo, your right , it's got to be hard to put a actual price on your labor with a project like that. You are a true Craftsman man ! Nice job.

A piece get's "welded in" or welded in place; a job or section of a job is "welded out" or finished up. (Or I could be completely wrong, haha) Either way you'd be right and we'd know what you meant, Jimbo. - I will sometimes under bid a job because I know how long it should take if I were a trained welder/fabricator; but I'm not and I often spend a lot of time on details that an experienced pro would probably cruise through. Always a pleasure watching you work. I learn something new every time. Thanks!

Jimbo, that was some fancy welding and fabrication. You're the man on this project. Hope you got enough green stuff to make a mortgage payment.

That IPE is beautiful... will last forever.. nice way to upcycle, too.. I built a sitting bench from IPE from a boardwalk that was damaged here (NY) during Superstorm Sandy... that wood is extremely dense also. Looks great, Jimbo.
