I just bought my first knife over $200 at Blade HQ. I got the WE Knife Co. 704E for $225. Says it's discontinued so I wanted one before they vanish. I've been watching your channel for a few weeks now and really like your videos. Thanks! I think I'm hooked on nice knives now.

I have been collecting knifes for about 10 years but according to your instructions I have done everything right lol. It's been nice to have saved money for the better more expensive knifes with good quality and better value. Rather than have a lot of cheap yet cool knifes. So glad I found this channel. Thank you for all the info and content.

Yes you've been doing everything exactly right. I did a lot right but I also did some wrong and I regret any knife I've ever bought that was under 110 bucks... there's people who have been collecting long enough to know what a good knife is, and then there's people who think Civivi's are good knives.. They just have never bought a Superior knife how many people do you know who can afford a Chris Reeve or Hinderer or Microtech or whatever say "I just really prefer my civivi or cold steel. They are superior"

@@BuffaloNickel9 are you going to pick on me for grabbing a spyderco pm2 with flytanium tumbled titanium scales for $200??

@@frankiethefrog1752 Frankie Frog! No I love flytanium titanium scales. I have them on a mini bug-out and a bug-out. The bug-out is one of my only budget knives I like since I put the fly tanium scales on there and changed the hardware.. I sold my pm2 and 3 but I'm definitely not picking on you for buying that especially with the titanium flytanium scales... might be a bit chunky. Good buy. We cool Frog?

@@BuffaloNickel9 yea I reckon that’ll do.I Should of bought the techno 2 and spydiechef a few years ago back when they were about $200. I dig the titanium lol. Now they’re both closer to $300. Around that price I want to save more and get a Chris reeves knife.

Mine is flawless and I love it. I also think its a bit over priced, but being they are in my state I felt like I should support them.

My tritium inserts are nearly perfect. I bought mine on a Black Friday deal for $100 off. Still felt like it was overpriced. I just like the way it looked, really. It's fine, it's just not a $250 knife at all.

Gotta get the glow rhino titanium pry bar to match that knife

The unboxing and reviews are always great especially when you add your unapologetic humor.
I have a Glow Rhino keychain and it is worth the $40.

If the gimmick is the insert then you better get the insert perfect. IMO

I like more simple knives like this. I just got the civivi off your website, I usually like more simple designs like that. Glow in the dark is a pretty cool idea.

Yeah i dig this a lot too. I like simple clean and monochrome. Fancy folding steak knife. Shiros are hands down my idea of perfect knife design. Nothing else really even comes close.

They started using tritium in trijicon special forces gun scopes and also you can buy gun sights some guns come from the factory with trijicon and other company now also offer tritium sights but they lose their glow after about 10 years sometimes a little sooner sometimes later I have some that have lasted 20 years you can still see it the rear sights the front sights was too dim, so I had to replace the front sight but the rear sights was good enough to go after 20 years... A tritium is a gas insert so it could be that it loses the gas after time and that's why it loses the brightness.

The Tritium you'd have to actually eat it then probably a fair amount before it actually potentially could hurt you 😉

Hmmmm.... for 2 bills, there's so many other knives to buy that don't have a boring design, with misaligned "glow-in-the-dark" parts.

Man it’s almost like they purpose built that pocket clip to be ugly and uncomfortable. It’s really holding that knife back. But I love the simple classic style, so this is my kinda jam. Basically I’m always looking for as many Shiro like qualities as possible without the Shiro price tags.

it's got a half-life of about 12.5 years and works wonders on ACOG's and mini red-dots with less reliance on fiber optics.
