There's meant to be at least 25% local content on the commercial radio (between 6 am and midnight, value across a week). Not sure how well they achieve that now, but they have failed in the past. Our government funded national radio station Triple J does a lot better, like 60% Aussie music. It's more focused on younger listeners and alternative music. Less heavy stuff than I'd like and there is very much a Triple J sound, but it's leagues ahead of commercial stations

Although i cant stand the clean singing in in hearts wakeand im somewhat glad hes gone for that reason i have to say this was a brilliant way to say fairwell in a heartfelt way for the fans that enjoyed his presence

Idc what anyone says, but Memphis May Fire is a solid band, when they make more complex song no one seemed to care, like Carry On or Stay The Course, now the're back to the pop structure, people complain about it, it doesn't make sense

I seen them touring for unconditional. Beartooth was opening for them, touring their e.p. Memphis May Fire hits hard and Matty is a god tier vocalist 🎉

Memphis May Fire for the better, the real way to sound uninspired is ripping Bad Omens and Spiritbox, MMF has put a lot of effort album by album, and this new stuff is one of their most iconic tracks ever made

i just got put on to Memphis may fire today, listened to chaotic, and immediately got bored. i listened to The Hollow album 4 times in a row while i was working, verdict is a very good album

Genuinely so tired of Memphis MF still being around. Their original stuff was generic enough that no one ive known goes back to them. And somehow theyre pumping out even less interesting soulless tracks than ever. If youre not helping push the genre forward, then get out of the way for the actual trendsetters of the modern age.

Now I'm not saying that this MMF track is amazing or anything but that seems like a very black-and-white view of things. Does every song by every band have to push the genre forward? Or else it's not even worth releasing?

Dude, just because you’re not a fan doesn’t mean you need to dump all over the band. MMF is the band that got me into heavier music and a lot of their songs have a lot of emotional attachment to me. And yes, I know others who go back to their albums frequently too. They are bigger now than ever before and I really look forward to what they put out next.
