Absolutely outstanding. Most probably one of the best HATE albums ever created and a monolith of death black metal art! A proof of years in the field and of being one of the most influencial bands of it's genre since the early 90's! A great step forwards from "Auric Gates of Veles", this time with a stronger death metal approach, but still conserving the best black metal elements. Without a doubt one of the best death black metal albums of the year 2021. Outstanding from the begining to the end. Ritualistic and powerful, gifted of a very own mystic aura and slavic archaic enchantment... one of a kind and a true HATE death black metal masterpiece. @Dr Perun Did you read the text? There are bands in Poland that sucks just like in other places on this planet. Hate is outstandingly good and I can mention many polish bands that kick ass, and when it comes to genres i can say that my taste is big. Heh, Mgla starts to sell their soul too now but biggest whores in the genre is Behemoth, make more merch than Kiss lol.

Malkontentów jest multum tak czy inaczej. Że to kopiowali dawniej Deicide, a to że teraz małpują od Nergala. Jak dla mnie kawał dobrego death metalu w dodatku przyprawiony nutą rodzimej mitologii.

Żaden muzyk nie jest chyba w stanie uciec przed czymś takim. Wpierw gdy zakłada się zespòł kopiuje się styl swoich idoli. Oczywiście nie zawsze ale tak jest, ale jest to częsta przypadłość. Dopiero z czasem zaczyna się odnajdywać swòj styl, swoją twarz. Łatkę im dolepiono, zresztą pewnie słusznie. W ramach gatunku tak na prawdę nie ma wielkiego pola manewru, i zawsze ktoś napisze że gdzieś to już słyszał. Że zerżnięte.

Dla mnie Behemoth nagrał jedną dobrą płytę, I Loved You at Your Darkest była ich szczytem możliwości aale i tak lubię ich tylko za muzykę którą tam stworzyli bo gwiazdożenie tego chuderloka, Adasia( Nergala), przyprawia mnie o mdłości. I'm sure, you are not sure about what I recognize. By drum computer I mean midi velocity 127 for all hits (exaggerately spoken) and too audible tonal similarity of all hits. But it's only my opinion and taste and I'm sure it's not overly important.

@@kevinkleinaudio Electronic drumkits (which are physically played) can still have velocity issues if they are not set up properly. I know what you mean that all the hits sound too consistent and the way the drums are compressed makes them sound "fake."

The tools and stumbling blocks in engineering are secondary. Also it's not about compression. Since Pantera and others, sound design is an important part of extreme music. The result matters. Static sound and 100% quantization can be nice, but it's a matter of taste, too.
