Didn’t think they’d ever be one of the biggest metal bands in the world. They were punishing, melodic and raw to me. Never really bothered with them after 2006, and never realized they got so big until years later

Got this when it came out. My CD had a bubble in it obscuring about a minute of that great North Sea Storm intro. No KZbin back then to get a quick fix.

Had to go straight to the bands webpage! Haha. Remember rocking to them in my high school computer lab, before I bought the cds. Those were the days North Sea Storm is probably my fav song on this album too. Such power. Reminded me of The Dragon’s Flight Across the Waves from the debut.

@Metal Blade Records - Random question: Does anyone have a copy of the 2009 Metal Blade release with some completely different song lyrics in the liner notes for Last With Pagan Blood? I never got an answer from the band about it and there’s no record of the lyrics that are in my copy anywhere online. Some of it is similar but it seems like an early version.
