I’d love to see the difference in flex between locked and unlocked on the metal cloak trailer. Great video.

This was extremely helpful. To rely back to also wanted to mention the release cable for this seat which is the cable behind the seat. Which was stretched when I went to pull my seat apart. The riser was also completely snapped like the one in this video.

Metalcloak has had the lock and load for the JKs and JLs for for a few years now, it’s not new. Also nice to see you using Metalcloak and not Teraflex like everyone else from the Epic shop.

Hey Casey, just curious why you didn't do the Metal Cloak 4 link in the front? Issues with clearance? I heard it has better flex than the locked and loaded option.

I love your channel. I have been a sub for a long time. I don't want to sound like an ass, but, I don't enjoy look at how much money I can throw into a project content. Remember, we don't have patrions..
@glenngore6609 Жыл бұрын
I kindof agree. The Epic guys’ KZbin channels used to be about a bunch of regular guys out going on adventures in their Wranglers. Now they all have Gladiators that have been essentially scrapped except the body and turned into $250,000 rich-people toys. FAR beyond what a regular guy can afford. The LiteBrite channel went down this road as well, as another example, leaving the regular folks to view all these channels as “aspirational” instead of depicting real-world adventures. It’s sad. I have watched e and the other guys for years, but now it’s all about who can build the most expensive, outlandishly expensively-built rigs that only millionaires can afford, and very little actual off-roading. It was good while it lasted.
@Casey250 Жыл бұрын
Ok. I'll buy another Jeep and do a modest build for ya 😁 when the stars align and you can make something like this happen you take the opportunity. I will also be getting back to wrenching on my JK shortly. I like building Jeeps and testing parts. Demon swap aside the Demonator has lots of parts and mods that apply to everyone.. but new Jeeps are nearly $100k here in Canada just to get started.

I have been a jeep guy since the 70 wagoneer was introduced. Had more jeeps than one can count in my life. Still would'nt own a new jeep. They got cheaply built over the decades and from 97 to present day they went plastic and overpriced. Not here to knock on jeeps just stating what i have seen over 50 years of jeeps. Good luck with the new build. Looking forward to seeing you on the trails
@Casey250 Жыл бұрын
I prefer earlier edition my JK for wheeling but for long range adventures in varying conditions the new Jeeps, especially the Gladiator is really nice. I can't drive my JK for 16hrs straight like I can my JL.
