METALCORE + VOCALOID = ??? Utsu-P - Ghost Under The Umbrella feat. GUMI REACTION

I randomly discovered Utsu-P last year when I heard the track _ハイパーリアリティショウ_ from RENAISSANCE. I listened to the whole album before I learned that it uses something called "vocaloid." I'd never heard of vocaloid before and I was surprised that the vocals weren't real! I don't remember hearing any harsh vocals on RENAISSANCE, but there was a song or two with rapping. I haven't heard any Utsu-P outside of RENAISSANCE. It sounds different than this song. It's more based on djent and Mick Gordon-style guitar riffing.

There isn't one Vocaloid in particular that can do harsh vocals, any of them can, and I believe Utsu-P achieves the sound by running a Vocaloid's vocals through a guitar filter/plugin. And yeah that breakdown is nuts, and dangerous while driving 😂 Another great song by Utsu-P is "Chocolate Girl (Algorithm version)", the video thumbnail has a green-haired chick (probably Gumi, the Vocaloid). That song has awesome piano sections too, and it's one of my favourite songs, enjoy. :) Thanks again!

I put on Utsu-P's music when I'm working sometimes, usually it's Pure White Poison or Hyper Reality Show. Anyway, there's some pretty awesome songs in his discography if you wanna check out more.

Try looking up the English translations for the lyrics too! There should be reuploads around youtube with English translations hardsubbed into his music videos. Utsu-P's lyrical themes make up a great chunk of his music. Also about this song in particular... the lyrics definitely aren't the happy-vibe kind lol

I like when someone react to Vocaloid or a Singing Synthesizer song. Can I recommend you an Utau producer? SHEBA, an UTAU producer that often uses Hakaine Maiko an UTAUloid made to sing Screamo and Namine Ritsu, the most popular UTAUliod. And if you like Vocalo-Rock or Vocalo-Metal, I recommend Yuyoyuppe, Okame-P, and Muryoku-P. Those are the few Vocalo-Metal producers I know since I don't consume too much Heavy Metal. I'm more of Cutesy or Creepy songs. There are also many other Vocal Singing Synthesizers that you may want to know about like Synthesizer V Pro, CeVIO AI, Neutrino AI and Ace Studio.
